Does the LL have to pay for their temporary accommodations? That's super short notice to vacate.
That community is a disaster and it's understandable why given the history. I've been there a handful of times for work and hope to never return. The people are just off.
Not sure if you're failing at Dad jokes or just generally being pedantic but this isn't helpful or funny. Take that shit over to Reddit if you must be that way.
C'mon, it was his hair and we all know that.
That's so lovely of them to volunteer their weekends and off hours to participate in the search.
Oh wait! They're actually just lining up with their hand out to get in on the frenzy of money that would start flowing if the province went ahead with the search.
Silly me.
There really isn't. We build through the winter in Winnipeg and it's miserable. A union carpenter can make 100k with a bit of overtime though so some guys will keep signing up....but not enough of them.
I've been fascinated by poop transplants for years now, especially with the potential for changing autism and treatment resistant mental health issues research.
My kids will be making donations haha. This is great.
The Union in Winnipeg is powerful enough to bankrupt the City not only morally but financially as well so I'd say ya.
They also cover up for drunk driving cops who murder civilians and keep abusive cops on the rolls but that's standard right?
If Georgia goes Blue in the next election, clearly there's voter fraud that Florida will need to investigate for the sake of the Union.
Nothing funny about the Governors commitment to democracy here.
S/ just because there are really stupid people who actually believe that shit.
Kinda feels dog whistley to you too hey?
Could be because I'm a Jew, but member of the tribe is a pretty familiar phrase over here.
If the cops come wipe these guys out after getting buddy buddy with the konvoy last year, I hope the City fucking riots.
I'm here to stay. Get used to it. ;)
Prolly can't read the English manuals to figure out how to turn it back on.
IIRC, meat and sunshine have a more severe rating than aspartame.....
This is fear mongering. Nothing's changed.
People shouldn't be getting their news from places that manipulate algorithms to prevent you from seeing a full spectrum of information anyways.
This is a good thing for Canadians, even if it seems inconvenient ATM.
I'm in Winnipeg... I live in one of the 'nicer' mature neighborhoods, with parks and schools every couple of blocks. This is happening everywhere.
Some dude who appears to be experiencing some housing issues pitched a tent in the park I walk my dog in daily. We play with the kids there quite often and it's a hub for families in the area with a Jewish education center and old folks home surrounding it. The homeless guy doesn't appear to be bothering anyone and keeps his area tidy.... I'm a bit torn as to whether or not to report him or ask the cops to rustle him out or whether to just leave him be. Having him relocated isn't solving anything, and might just put him back under a bridge where he likely isn't safe to stay. I know he'll be gone by winter though, if he starts lighting fires to keep warm he'll be gone in a hurry.
It's almost like these people want to act like they haven't had notice this is coming. The entire point is to phase out infrastructure that isn't relevant anymore.
Oil and gas infrastructure is becoming irrelevant quickly. Adapt, evolve or die.
Make Crocs acceptable to wear at all times. Is that really too much to ask?
I saw a guy wearing bright blue ones covered in charms not long ago while out for dinner at one of the top 100 places in the country and thought "ya, that guy looks comfy af, I bet he's loving this meal" and wanted to feel that way.
The least enforced law in Winnipeg based on the lady's I see at the park daily with their Mommy juice not so discretely tucked away in their Stanley or Yeti mug.
Am I the only one that hands my stuff to the staff member standing there and asks them for help? I really don't mind saying I don't understand how those things work, as I truly don't care enough to pay even the slightest bit of attention to them.... If there's a staff member just standing there watching, why can't they help me as a customer?
I'm always polite about it, except that one time at Dollarama where there was 4 people standing there acting like I was being rude for asking them to ring me thru a till rather than use a self checkout. That time, I just put my stuff down and walked out. If they don't want to help me, I'm not giving them my money.
