Whoa. This is crazy.
Yup. Shit needs to be illegal. Is there a GDPR angle to it?
Disagree, because maybe you don't want the insurance company stalking you and having a stored location history? If anything, I personally would just stop driving at that point (indeed, my current car is almost certainly my last).
I don't think OP is that stupid. I'd guess they'll provide a reasonably close fake location, since their home address is almost certainly known to the insurer.
NVidia drivers
Goddamn it why did you have to remind me of that :/
I'm more referring to servers requiring the handover of phone numbers to join. That implementation is so fucking stupid.

This is what I was getting at. Sure, most games can be run with Proton fine and well, but if anti-cheat is code for "run Windows or else", a lot of games are just unplayable, forcing gamers to at least dual boot with Windows.
Full fledged SteamOS desktop release when?
Yeah, but Hyundai aren't offering adapters for a long while
I would do unspeakable things to be able to get a remote job and live in Sapporo though.
I wish. It's currently 45 where I am, and it's barely past noon.
I don't get seasons where I live. It's just hell year-round.
Aren't you funny? I needed a new car because mine died.
I just had to get a new car back in March, and while I love it, it's not something I can just recommend to anyone. Even in its base configuration, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 starts out at like $42,000 USD.
But Chevrolet intentionally denied owners access to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, whereas that comes standard with the Ioniq 5 (and I believe wirelessly from the 2025 model year; someone please check that, though).
That too, yeah
The best way to solve this though is through control of the means of production. Can't have this if the business is owned by the state.
Would it be of use to have a separate community to discuss the more nuanced side of the sport's technical regulations, lest those who find that less accessible not get lost when the subject comes up? I'd be happy to get that spun up, and post my dives into different parts of the regs every other week or whatever.

A place for discussing tactics, gear, and other struggles related to playing (ice) hockey.
Not sure if it's exactly necessary, but I thought it'd be a nice touch for those of us that wanted to talk hockey from a player perspective.
Free agent Vladimir Tarasenko has changed agents as he seeks a new contract.
Per Greg Wyshynski, Vladimir Tarasenko has apparently switched agents and is now represented by Pat Brisson and CAA Sports, the same agency as Kaner. Maybe we're bringing him back somehow?
Per Mercogliano, apparently the Rangers are looking to trade down from 23. Thing is, will 23 have to be packaged with the Goodrow contract to clear out space for guys like Chytil to get pay raises? Drury's going to have some real work on his hands this summer trying to build a competitive roster in the last two year's of Igor's deal, and if he doesn't, I think we might be seeing 31 in another sweater come the 2025-26 season.
