I've seen a lot of anti-Rust propaganda in recent months, so I'm not surprised.
I thought I was the only one who lived this experience. It's fucking suffering constantly wondering if I'm next because my team is in a downturn.
The only correct way to refer to that site is Twitter.
I'm in a megafirm you've probably heard of, but I've been in this role for my third and fourth YoE, so I'm wondering how long it should take me to get to mid-level/senior.
Well said, though I'd love to know how you managed to promote to senior. I'm stuck in the leadup to that promotion.
No need. Intel dumped all of them out, even if it was onto the rest of the motherboard.
I don't think I've ever produced spaghetti code in my life...
Because my code never works in the first place.
Impostor syndrome is a fucking bitch. That's why I gave up on ever thinking I'll understand anything.
Wait, you guys have a clue? Junior dev here applying up to mid-level roles, and I'm so fucking lost at what I see as wizardry from everyone.
On a serious note, I'm a junior (soon to be mid-level as of next year) full-stack dev, who wants to have a strong knowledge of JS to give myself as much of a chance as possible at promoting to senior ASAP.
JS so far to me feels like anarchy (coming from Rust and Python)
Yeah I fucked up step 1 as well. Suggestions?
The issue? I'm the idiot. Any suggestions for a guide to JS/TS for someone trying to learn about front-end development.
Damn couldn't even call them Uncut Gems?
I'm quite sure that atmospheric wind currents don't change the direction of cosmic rays, lol.
Rust is a lovely language if you're okay getting deep into the nuts and bolts.
Does anyone have tips for getting interviews? I'd like to think I do well enough when I get them since I'm 3-for-3 on offers, but I can't seem to get them. I'm working on shifting out of a big 4 consultancy back to industry either in the civilian space sector or in game dev. But it's hard to puff up my résumé because I'm not much into playing the whole bs game, and autism does me no favours in networking. Suggestions?
