I read Hexbear threads because I tend to read a lot of Lemmy threads in general. A lot of the time I don’t realize the instance it was posted to until I realize most of the comments are from Hexbear or that there’s a higher number of hyper violent takes than normal. That’s what’s so insidious about this instance.
I exist elsewhere on Lemmy. I just get tired of randomly seeing my old sub posted out of nowhere and people speculating about me.
You call everyone genocidal and fascist and the only entry in the modlog is the user being banned for spam. Clearly a lot being said for someone who was supposedly just posting spam. Looks like Hexbear censors their modlog too, surprise surprise. Maybe that person was genuinely a genocidal fascist. How would I know when you all have abused the terms to death? You’re in a predicament of your own making.

Contrary to Hexbear’s general attitude, the Fediverse continues to exist without them. I have this account specifically because, years later, people are referencing something I barely put any effort into and shouldn’t be a big deal to anyone with a light conscience.
