A strike by workers at a warehouse for Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API) is going on. API's parent company is Wesfarmers, which makes over $30 billion revenue a year.
The strike is taking place to stop the company's attempt to cut real pay. Workers are currently struggling to afford basic needs, and are already reeling from the effects of a bad pay deal in the recent past.

A strike by workers at International Flavors & Fragrances, who produce a type of soy protein that is widespread in many food products, has been going on for multiple weeks in the US.
The company is intent on smashing their most basic working conditions: establishing forcible 12 hour working days without overtime pay, and slashing healthcare and retirement. This attempt to reduce them to complete exploitation is being opposed through a strike by BCTGM Local 390G.
