AI bots now beat 100% of those traffic-image CAPTCHAs
  • I just close the page usually if I see one of these ones, I don't have the patience to click all the boxes and then it just sends you a different one.

  • Movie(s) with best soundtrack?
  • Hackers

  • Marques Brownlee says ‘I hear you’ after fans criticize his new wallpaper app
  • Wasn't he also behind the redline icon pack (which I do actually like) but yeah subscription for something you can easily find your own images or even just ask an AI to make.

Subscriptions aren't something I'll ever buy into software wise and if they are offering an actual service it better be worth the money and give me more than an image.

  • Huawei's revamped Android competitor is launching with support for 10,000 apps.
  • Never seen a single ad here in the UK and constant 5 bars no other phones came close, that battery also lasted me 2 days and the camera, remote desktop etc were stellar.

Kinda feel Huawei were the ones pushing everything new and Samsung was playing copycat.

Oh yeah Ir blaster, Micro SD and a headphone jack.

  • Huawei's revamped Android competitor is launching with support for 10,000 apps.
  • I think the whole Huawei ban thing is going to so badly keep backfiring. Best phone I've ever owned was a Huawei I can really see this taking major market from both Android and Windows given time.

Will probably take them a while though.

  • Amazon Joins the MPA as its Newest Anti-Piracy Member Since Netflix in 2019.
  • I dunno I really like "The Boys" and "Fallout" they seem to actually make decent shows where as Netflix just churns out low budget garbage they manage to cancel before you even know exist.

Really going to miss the grand tour though TV won't be the same without those 3 together.

  • What is the hardest video game(s) in your opinion, why, and what other games are you comparing against to make this conclusion?
  • I was thinking this as well most games when you beat them once you can pretty much do it every time. I still die a ridiculous amount in this game.

  • Why didn't I buy a e-reader sooner?
  • I hated readers at first because I bought a Sony one that constantly crashed and lost my place. Replaced it eventually with a Kobo and I've been a big fan since.

Really is nice to have basically a library in hand and you only have to even think about charge every few book or so.

  • We should probably use upx to package executable in torrenting space (Discussion)
  • Have you ever used upx on a windows machine, defender throws fits and deletes everything.

  • Generative AI is reportedly tripling carbon dioxide emissions from data centers
  • It's a nice gimmick and sometimes fun but probably not worth it given the state of the planet already.

  • Google rolls out voice-powered AI chat to the Android masses
  • Gemini a no go for me just for the simple fact you need to unlock your phone to get a response. At the point I'm lifting my phone it's easier to just do whatever myself.

  • Was it my imagination that most people believed in a 9/11 conspiracy?
  • I remember seeing that gif pretty much right after the attacks. I don't know of it was fake or not but it did show the plane launch something into the building about a second before it hit.

I even remember the site I saw it on.

  • Could this be an anti-piracy attempt?
  • Google's gone full evil between this and all the YouTube ruining.

I've bought apps on Google Play where I've had to download the apk elsewhere because of restrictions like scoped storage making them almost unusable.

Neutron music players one example where they have to keep an apk on their own site to get round Google restrictions. as scoped storage is about 20 times slower not to mention a real hassle. PPSSPP is another example and probably a lot of emulators were folder access is kind of important.

  • Locked
How do I buy a new television
  • If you go this route be aware a sizeable number of cheap monitors have no speakers so you would need a solution to this

  • What's your favourite game made for a handheld console?
  • Jeanne D'arc on PSP has to be the best tactical rpg I've played for pure fun value amazingly polished game if not that well known.

PSP has an amazing catalog I still keep a ton of them on my phone and attach a bluetooth controller.

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, the sate of AI.
  • If only he tends to give these things to the conmen installing the junk. I've tried to stop him wasting his money so many times but it's futile I've tried to use his latest oven he had an amazing one before but when I tried to use the new one following every instruction he said and the actual manual I looked up online myself the food came out later absolutely fridge cold.

He insists his new cooker is brilliant, what can you do with that response to something that's obviously broken from new and he should be returning.

He might need a home but I can't do that to him truthfully, I just wish he had some common sense when it comes to things like appliances etc.

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, the sate of AI.
  • My dad falls into this category he constantly replaces things with way worse things just because they are new, I can't get my mind round how he can replace really good working stuff with new junk that isn't even capable of doing the job.

Wish I was joking but he does this constantly.

  • What's valuable, but not worth stealing even if you could get away with it?
  • I'm sure China would put in a bid for one, your life wouldn't be worth living after though you would need serious plastic surgery a new identity and even if you moved to China I'm pretty sure you would have a accident eventually.

  • is there a way to remove instances

Just curious if there is a way as I've been subscribed to a couple now that just vanished out of nowhere and it's a bit annoying to have dead instances on the switch screen.
