Also, if you set the bitrate (aka the quality) low enough you can store over 10 hours of video on a CD in this way. This is how I have the 10 hour version of the badger badger mushroom song on a CD. I accidentally dropped it yesterday and had to remake it from scratch. So in a landfill somewhere, some day soon there will be a broken CD with the 10 hour version of the badger badger mushroom song on it.
