Why would you need a reason other than privacy? Or for that matter any reason you want or nobe at all.

We sort of know how it works, you don't need to explain it. People in other countries have education about the civics of many nations, and obviously most of us pay attention to US politics. Go ahead and assume we know the basics of what is happening.
