Miguel for sure cause I'm on winter break.
Ah that's great news thank you. Guess I'll need to change my comments 🤡
Thought I'd mention a problem (re: Apps will likely break (only for lemmy.ml)) I am developing an app and this one request stopped working:
https://lemmy.ml/api/v3/community/list?type_=Subscribed&auth=[MY_AUTH]&username=[MY_USERNAME]&limit=50
Any other type_
works. This one used to return only a users Subscribed communities but it just returns an empty array {"communities":[]}
. When you load it up in a browser it works. I'm driving myself crazy
Win what exactly? They're the biggest game company out there.
This is a turning point and I'm here for it
Twitter, Reddit, Facebook => Fediverse
Unity => Godot
AAA Studios => Indie devs
Whenever I see Zuck I think of this song "Is Mark Zuckerberg a Ghost" by Nap Eyes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gq2YhOY55zU
Also, this is the right move. Facebook/Meta only wants to harvest our data and profit off it.
I really hate Elon but Teslas are great cars. I drive one (purchased prior to Elon losing his damn mind publically) and I can't picture myself driving anything else unless Apple makes a car. It's like going from a flip phone to a modern phone. There's competition out there now for sure, thank god - but compare the user interface and charging network, not to mention their other products like power walls, and it's night and day.
There are rumors of Elon getting ousted from Tesla and I would love to see that happen because there's obviously an Elon-fan-by-association thing going on and that really sucks.
Current life status
2023 is the year of self-implosions. Time to switch to opera
Awesome, looking forward to it
Yep it was bought back in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alien_Blue
I think it was an uphill struggle and nearly impossible to pull off.
Spez had absolutely no interest in changing his stance on working with developers. The hugely ironic thing I read that made me give up hope (and stash my ~1 year in development Reddit App) was Spez saying "It was never designed to support third-party apps." -- yet no acknowledgement that the "official" app was literally a third party app that they purchased years ago called Alien Blue.
I've honestly never heard of Tildes til this post. As far as I can tell since there's no API he's just scraping html which is not ideal, but still it's worth checking out. I love that developers are still determined to make 3rd party apps.
Being overly sarcastic, especially online (speaking from experience 👆)
