Hate Nato, Hates IKEA and Hates freedom..
  • IKEA furniture are not bad at all. 40 years ago or was a standing joke, but the quality has quintupled since then.

You can of course buy the cheapest of cheap in IKEA and it will be less comfortable than the more expensive ones, but couches from IKEA are good.

Hell, most other furniture brands delivers their furniture flat packed as well. It's just easier to build IKEA since they have gotten the instructions down to a t.

When I saw the story about furniture doctor here the other day it just seemed so dumb. Buy flat packed furniture sand assemble it on your living room. Or get the furniture doctor to assemble it, then you don't have to cut it open with power tools....

In short - IKEA and Wasa ftw!!

  • Trump supporters call for riots and violent retribution after verdict
  • Fuck right off

The point here is that you need his base to start acting crazy.

    Because they fucking are.

A second more horrible jan 6 would destroy that faction.

Left like it is now it can grow, but if it could boil over now it has a good chance to fizzle out.

  • Trump supporters call for riots and violent retribution after verdict
  • The best outcome now is for the fuckers to mobilize and start killing ppl. Perform some actual Geneva convention war crimes and just really go to town. Proper attack.

Because right now is a very small but vocal group. And I'm sure Don Snorleone would marvel and rave about a new group of people marching forcefully in his name. Right up until they starts to execute democrats and people disagreeing with them on a whim.

Then you could respond in force, killing and jailing them and no one would disagree. It would be a wake-up call. It could purge parts of the GOP.

Now you have secession talks within the party that will just be whispers until this thing grows out of control. Then you get "Ciwil war" or god damn praise be "Handmaidens tale"...

    Rise up and get fucked!

  • What’s your best museum experience?
  • This is probably not in the same categories as other experiences, buuuut the Guinness museum in Dublin the evening before st Patrick's day was quite fun!

There's a large bar at the top/end of the museum and a band was playing and 100 or so people ended up in a conga line.

I think I had 4 tasty Guinness during the museum tour sand countless at the museum bar😅

  • "cheap" coax to hdmi converter?

I have an Amiga 600 that i never use. Its in the original packaging, even with the original silicone humid pack😅 anyway, its taking up space and i want to sell it.

I understand that the 600 might have some capacitor problems and these might need change.

And if it needs that, then that's a problem for future me... Right now I would like to know if it works, and I don't have any TV work coax input...

So I really need a cheap device that I might use a few times just to know if if works before and after any repairs.

    What du you guys use?.

What's stopping people who lash out at the world from going after corporations?
  • Well..... It used to be called "going postal" because of the frequent mass shootings in postal offices by postal workers...

Why that changed I can't tell you.

On a slightly funny(?) note, postal the game was created where you are in fact going postal. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postal_(video_game)

Apparently there is a plot line that is not about shooting postal workers, so who knows.

  • Trump ally Charlie Kirk suggests children should watch public executions
  • It's always projection with GOP. They are only behaving morally because they believe they will be punished by God / society of they don't. Meaning they have little to no moral compass beyond potential punishment.

So naturally crime would go down as kids are scared into submission early on. Brazier everybody has the same moral behaviour as them....

  • TIL personal credit scores only started in 1989
  • Exactly. It is potential debt and it goes against getting new loan/debt from banks. No matter if you have used the credit card or not. The banks look at the available limit on an your credit cards or available credit and view that as debt when they calculate how much they can loan you.

  • TIL personal credit scores only started in 1989
  • In Norway having loads of credit cards is negative for getting a house loan as it is potential debt that goes against your payment ability for the house loan.

Meaning we do have a credit score system for getting loans and more stuff on various credit solutions, but credit cards works against larger loans.

Which can be a pain in the ass when you want to buy a house/apartment and have credit cards that might deny you the last bit of money to win the bidding war...

  • Hierarchy
  • It's always fun to listen to some Americans labelling Dems as commies.

This is obviously not the same view as OP, but based upon the comments I thought I could throw a light on where "the world" places Dems and Republicans on the wold political scene. Ish...

  • Look at hiiim
  • I'm sure the artist intended to be smart and use metric time as something silly.

The problem is he used regular time.

    60 * 60 * 24=86400=>86.4 kseconds where k stands for 1000. Like kilo for 1000 grams. Kilometer for 1000 meters etc.

    The comic doesn't make sense...

  • Cable company logic: "Our predatory anti-consumer practices are really pro-consumer"
  • Early termination fees are not that horrible. They can give you a monthly cost where some of the costs for installing it might be distributed over they contact period. Fine and ok

But i should still be able to cancel my contract without jumping through 11 loops and queues.

If you sign up for a given contract, that's what you have agreed upon. It sucks if you only have one option and they can set a ridiculous price. So if you want to regulate pricing, that's a different matter. Cancelling is something else altogether.
