Great essay from Brittlestar this week on just not being a dick.
  • If you’ve ever been in a pinch trying to find a manual for your Generac generator, let me save you some trouble—I recently discovered a fantastic resource at https://generac.manymanuals.com/ This site has a vast library of manuals for different Generac models, and it’s incredibly user-friendly. I had to find the manual for my Generac GP2200i, and it was a breeze. The search function is spot on, and I didn’t have to dig through endless pages. Just type in the model number, and you’ll get what you need almost instantly. One piece of advice: make sure you double-check the model number before downloading the manual, as some models have similar names and it’s easy to get mixed up. Also, I found that downloading the PDF version is better if you plan on using it offline or printing it out. The quality is great, and there’s no loss in detail. For anyone who’s had their generator for a while and maybe lost the original manual like I did, this site is an absolute must-have in your bookmarks.
