That’s what they want you to think *taps forehead
Is your cat making too much noise all the time?!
I realized far too late that most mainstream media is about maximizing views and not telling those stories that worth telling as you said. They start with an interesting idea for a story and if it gets popular it just drags on to get the most amount of eyeballs for as long as possible only for it to end long after it should have with an unsatisfying ending.
And don’t get me started on injecting soap opera esque character drama just to keep the lowest common denominator inerested (looking at you For All Mankind)
Jesus! mark this nsfw! I vomited in my mouth a little bit
Are you saying that the country you live in has a violent crime rate of zero?
Right now I’m a fish person due to a lack of space, free time, and energy. Have had both cats and dogs and have loved them to pieces but I’m happy to play puppy and kitty uncle for a while
Sophie should be proud
Calling me a metalworker would be an insult to real metalworkers everywhere. That said, depending on the size of the piece of steel, it’s probably not worth your time to fill in then grind flat when local big box hardware stores sell common sizes of “welding steel” for relatively cheap and as the other poster wrote, McMaster-Carr has just about any size piece of angle you can think of.
Source: was a kid with no money scrounging in what was left of grandpa’s (tool maker) machine shop who is now an adult and now buys the parts I need rather than trying to make do
I’ll be that guy and say that he’s kind of a dickhead in real life
The PFAS is coming from inside the house!
I’m with you. Once again it turns out that I want a documentary on this alternate history rather than a character drama
I’m sorry, were you talking to me?
How do those work?
I mostly read ebooks but I do buy physical copies of books I want to have on the shelf in the weird hope that maybe my kids or niblings might stumble upon in the future and spark an interest. Luckily I have a really good used bookstore near me that I can buy them for fairly cheaply so I consider it a cheap long term investment that will hopefully pay dividends
I’m with you to a point. There were many points in the movie where I turned to my wife and asked “I thought we were building a bomb?” I’ll say that it wasn’t a terrible movie but I think I would have enjoyed a documentary on Oppenheimer or the development of the bomb rather than a biopic where the director needs to make art.
Stop judging her and let her enjoy the one thing that makes her happy
A good creature feature definitely needs my boy Burt Gummer
I just want more live action Boimler and Mariner
You guys switched away from Firefox?
