A brutal simulator/action game. You play as a little slugcat in a world of predators and devastating environments. You have to progress through cunning and luck, avoiding predators and if necessary, killing them, all while keeping yourself fed and avoiding death at the hands of an uncaring world.
This game has an excellent atmosphere, with beautiful environments and worldbuilding. It has animations reminiscent of Flash games with everything having dynamic movements for their limbs, heads, etc. It's also very unfair and difficult. But getting through the main story was very satisfying.
Wayne Kyle: Then you've got predators who use violence to prey on the weak. They're the wolves.
And then there are those blessed with the gift of aggression, an overpowering need to protect the flock. These men are the rare breed who live to confront the wolf. They are the sheepdog.
Huh, how are these two different, Eastwood?
This mixed metaphor aside, sheepdog ARE protectors of the flock by means of deterrence. They don't attack wolves unless the sheep are in immediate danger. The problem is that fascists think shooting up a mosque, banning abortion, or deporting immigrants is 'deterrence'.
So, I'm in support of using their metaphor not only for progressives, but for actually using it in the logically correct sense.
When one party member gets attacked, we all roll initiative π²ππ§
Ah that's a shame. The game looks nice, but there's not that much going on, so you shouldn't need an expensive rig to run it, so I imagine it's a bit poorly optimized.
One day in and I'm loving it!
Counterpoint: Wanderstop just released and I'm going to enjoy it immensely. Stanley Parable/Beginner's Guide + C418 music is tailor made for me.
They really decided to just scam everyone lol

Also did the Loony Tunes folks design all signs back then?

They're very seldom eaten, more likely it would be pet food. I do think they're trapped/killed to control numbers though. But I also think they are hunted for their skins still too, yeah.
Anyway my point was that it's a good taxidermy job.
Davey Wreden is just a powerful writer. Even his interview trailer for the game gave me pause.
I absolutely love how well Alta's behaviors and animations convey her mood and motivations. Angrily running around swinging the tea basket is cathartic all in itself :D
Awful taste, but great execution!
Fair point. But if my job is directed to make an unethical change, I'm sure as hell going to get it in writing first. If I get fired I'll take them to court. Or maybe they'll panic and rehire me like they've done with other agencies. People are starting to see the incompetence of this administration and I'll be happy to provide another example.
The alternative is "just following orders." I recognize that not everyone has the financial safety to lose their job over civil disobedience, but the things that are currently happening are only possible because people allow it. The best way to resist fascism is to gum up the works; don't take it from me, take it from the CIA.

Additional context for the uninitiated: the series "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" was aired out of sequence intentionally, which is to say that the episide order is not the chronological order of events. The show is a masterclass of storytelling, presenting just enough information for the viewer to follow the episode's plot while leaving you constantly guessing and inferring information about the series as a whole, since you learn plot details at a different pace than the protagonist. The show never tells you the episode's chronological place, but it can be determined through observation of details such as season, references to other events, etc.
The reason this discussion started is because people began recommending others to watch the series in chronological order, and other orders were also popularized. So Anon seems to have been seeking a method to list all possible orders as a logical conclusion of the practice.
Highly recommended for even non-anime fans, it's a great sci-fi comedy/drama/mystery. I personally recommend the original airing order.
What you want to do is hold them to existing standards and procedures. Don't comply just because they tell you to do it.
"What rule says I need to reply to a non-government employee? Which policy states that pronouns are banned from profiles? Which law states that our agency can no longer send public announcements?"
This is America. This is the foundation that holds up the Trump government and the Republican Party.
It was a highly-awarded reply to the top comment, so it was the second comment you would see by default sorting (though it starts minimized).
But yeah to @OP this is not America or what Americans think. That sub is pure Russian disinfo and astroturfing. You could argue that it represents the administration and current policy, but most of the actual people here recognize this as lunacy, even on within the Putin echo chamber.
Then: "When was the last time you heard about those transgenders? It's something the Left made up. It's time to finally outlaw HRT"
How many Super Mario games are there? The answer is actually a lot more complicated than you might think!
