Just reading Suvremene komunikacione tehnologije i mreže (en. Modern Communication Technologies and Web) by William A. Shay.
It is a bit outdated, but still interesting!
On my rooted LineageOS ROM it works just fine, just gives a warning when starting it for the first time that I am using a "rooted device" and how my "security might be compromised" but it lets you continue and doesn't show it ever again.
The problem you encounter is making it money efficiant since e621 is mostly non profitable besides selling the name and shilling the parent company while big AI models are REALLY power hungry. Mi****oft restarted whole nuclear power plant to manage energy demand.
If you propose a smaller model there is a problem of human expercionism. In other words every artist has his own artstyle. So you need the model to recognize EVERY possible artstyle which means you need to train it on EVERY possible artstyle which is not possible right now while making the AI somewhat usable.
Now let's set all previous problems aside and say they have the power, knowlage, time, will and money. You now need to actually train the AI. For that you need the training material. "No problem" you say to yourself. You run the biggest furry art archive on the internet. Well, that is the thing it is an archive, not your art. So you would need to ask EVERY artist whose art EVER got uploaded to the archive if they consent for AI to be trained on art they made, which if you can contact every of them I guarantee 95% will say no. And I belive you now need to do the same for people who taged those art pieces to give the AI something to learn from.
with all that work you are left with mediocre algorithm who is 80% accurate 20% of the time.
.
In conclusion AI is not a silver bullet for every problem, not even something like tagging since they are really not as amazing as big corpos make them to be.
TLDR >!AI is not a solution from moral, practical and economy standpoint!<
.
Of course I am open to other's standpoint so correct me if I am wrong anywhere. :3
I say that mainly because of the Motorola's past with repair services of the outer sceen and casing.
They will do it, for almost the price of a new phone.
So as sick as the screen looks, when it breaks, you will have a pretty sick paper weight or pretty empty wallet.
not saying other phones don't have expensive replacement screens, just usually not as expensive as the device itself
this is the project you are looking for in terms of support.
for yours SP9 only thing not working is camera. As for the setup it looks to be just a packag you would intall and it would add a kernel and other fixes. As long as you follow instructions and choose a easy distro like Fedora or Ubuntu it should be easy enough.
for a laptop as you said thinkpad is not a bad idea, but old good ones are not that famous for their quiet fans, and new ones are not as repairable or popular.
Dell xps and HP Gram are only mainstream laptops that are thin, powerfull, made well, tho still not upgradable which is a shame.
If you think you want something upgradable and have money I would suggest Framework 13, but between HP, Dell and Lenovo there ain't many other Thin and Light's made today.
Also I would suggest going for a i5 or Ryzen 5 instead the best if noise and battery is of importance since you don't lose that much anyway.
And if you want the battery life and noise like on apple macs you can also search up Sbapdragon Elite laptops, though the support is still hit and miss on Linux.
Microsoft surface is also not that bad, but be alerted that depending on which model you have different components might not work (like camera or fingerprint sensor).
My friend has a terminal disease, and I'm not in sudoers. Please pray for him. 🙏🙏
