Question: When Air leaks from the ISS, does it just orbit with it indefinitely as an "air bubble" or maybe a dispersed "air cloud" around it or will it eventually settle down into the atmosphere?
IT WAS ONLY LAST TUESDAY???
Fuck, it feels like it's already been a lot longer...
Fuck, now I have to listen to that. Such a good song!
Life will give you lemons wheter you want it or not. There's no unsubscribing.
I think you're lying. I think you are a biologist or at least a citrus expert! Liar!
I love the idea of using a DOF effect in a drawing.
Also the drawing itself is hilarious!
No, there's dozens of us. Dozens!
Wait... I don't get it, can you provide another example?
Nice! Please keep this updated, thanks.
At first I was like "alright, enough with the couchfucking bullshit. It's not true and I don't like lying".
Then I read the smaller part at the bottom and you know what? Fair enough.
...of the people who... 👌 live there. 🫲🫱
Is this shopped or just an unfavorable screengrab?
He still doesn't know what's in the secret sauce though.
A R... REPUBLICAN??? No! I can't believe it! \s
Good. Cities are for people to live in, not cars.
I also at first thought it's not that bad, because it looks like the main part of the computer is "hovering", because it stands on that round portion. But then I saw that the button is on the backside! Why? That way you have to reach around everything, making it impossible to fit the thing into some smaller space and still use it. If it was on the bottom but in the front you would still have your beloved button-less design but the button would still be pretty accessible.
Well, looks like many people are not "so over it".
Also, should we really "get over" pushing back at racist shit?
Your argument is weak, you get an F. Go sit down and think about what you did.
Makes sense as well. So the projectiles they throw not only have to be able to withstand the launch and release the payload, but they also have to be functioning rockets to allow for a circulation burn...
Well good luck to them.
Edit: I think I had that animation in mind where the canon shoots a canon-ball into a circular orbit (don't remember where I saw it), but I guess that's impossible, too, then. >.<
Thanks for the detail! I thought it should definitely be possible in theory to throw something into orbit. But you're right, I didn't think of the atmosphere and its friction. You would also have to throw at a very flat angle so theres a lot of atmosphere for your projectile to pass through.
Yeah, when I first heard what they are trying I was extremely sceptical. Watching some YouTube videos that talk through the physics involved didn't help much. So I was extremely, surprised reading this headline and thinking they actually got something into orbit. I'm somehow both relieved and upset that they didn't.
