You could try using imessage-exporter. I haven't used it myself but have seen it being recommended before in this sub.

Hope you all are doing well. I will be receiving my new WD Red Plus - 12TB drives tomorrow along with my Synology 1522+. I was wondering if there's anything I can do to check if the drives I've received are in good condition? Check for bad sectors or anything of that sort?
This is my first foray into the world of a NAS and data hoarding so I was hoping if you all had some tips or must do's you all have to share for someone starting off.

You could connect their email to Thunderbird and export a backup from there. A roundabout way to do it. Who's the email provider? Gmail?
Are these noisy? Noisier than a WD Plus or Pro?
