Things not going great for baguette land.
Now we know why he got whacked.
These are clearly 2 different people, one is Joe Biden and the other one is President Biden. This is fake news.
China take a L challenge (LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE)
As President Biden says, American workers and businesses can outcompete anyone—as long as they have fair competition. But for too long, China’s government has used unfair, non-market practices. China’s forced technology transfers and intellectual property theft have contributed to its control of 70, 80, and even 90 percent of global production for the critical inputs necessary for our technologies, infrastructure, energy, and health care—creating unacceptable risks to America’s supply chains and economic security. Furthermore, these same non-market policies and practices contribute to China’s growing overcapacity and export surges that threaten to significantly harm American workers, businesses, and communities.
What president Biden is saying here is that Americans can't outcompete anyone without having monopoly on intellectual property lmao. Is it fair competition when one party holds the know-how and extracts rent from it? Of course not, when the playing field was leveled they didn't have a chance against China.
Yea, these things take time to catch up, you can still see this on the West. Its mostly the old people that are reactionary on social issues, newer generations require some heavy indoctrination to turn out as conservative as them.
China went from economically backwards to a highly developed in the span of 30 years, id bet the avg age in China is above that!
Time and economic development. Social development has not caught up with economic development because the pace of economic development has been ridiculous.
Because the american left is conquered by idealism, violent resistance is a no-no.
Careful joe, you are being to harsh on them!
Yes there is, its called private security.
Bro is gonna grow up into a staunch marxist leninist to piss off his dad.
bro he is already incredibly popular and the bigotry is part of the reason 😅
Look mom i'm so smart!
so do u all like save links from news or interesting articles for future use like writing an essay or something?
Trump lesser evil candidate??!!
Its even funnier with context, orange man was complaining about mental illness and the places where they treat mental illness. He suddenly comes out with hannibal, which to my interpretation, implies that mentally ill people used to be funny/great? at least. ( He can't possibly think that hannibal is a real person right? )
Even if it doesn't make sense, mentioning a cult film like that will earn him votes.
We should take bets on the over/under minute mark when Piers asks to condemn hamas, its bros only talking point.
Javier Milei on the campaign trail, eight months ago: "Not only am I not going to do business with China, I am not going to do business with any communist."
Turns out Argentina and many more countries rely on Chinese companies even to produce bills 😅
>Some governments have asked Beijing not to publicise the deal because they are worried such information could compromise national security or trigger “unnecessary debates at home”, the person said.
They even know it's shameful lmao.
I wonder how many more "invisible" industries China dominates, i always assumed that central banks had the monopoly on producing their own physical currencies but turns out i was wrong.
Like any online marketplace, too good to be true things are probable not true.
Dried grain can get infected with pests.
Americans won’t believe it until an tech influencer with US security clearance says it, someone like Marques Brownlee which curiously NEVER reviews Chinese stuff 😂 reality will hit them like a high speed rail, oh wait

This could be another embarrassing setback for US foreign policy, this time in its so-called "back yard" (or as Biden calls it, "front yard").
This situation shows that the US does not have the economic power it used to have, Russian sanctions over banana imports were enough to sway Ecuador away from the arms deal. Overall it's a pretty funny situation where both Ecuador and the US look very silly.

Stock buybacks, aka corporate financialization, as a mode of predatory value extraction
Interesting in-depth read on stock buybacks and the main perpetrators (Apple is #1 of course). Stock buybacks are corporate corruption, where senior executives cash in the profits of the company by getting paid in stocks and then colluding to use the company profits to buy stocks (thus artificially inflating the value of stocks) and then dumping them. Literally a pump and dump scheme.
When someone mentions that there is no corruption in the private sector, send them this article.
Any tips for hosting a blog? i recently read this speech by deng about the pen being a major tool for exercising leadership and i want to start writing my thoughts to practice and get better.
Of course all political parties are disgusting in liberal democracies but there are some that just are insane.
In Mexico it has to be PAN, they're your usual latin american conservative party. Elitists, very catholic, racists, malinchistas ( they hate mexico and its culture ). Right now they're going insane because a former secretary of national security was declared guilty off collaborating with drug cartels in a US jury ( they idolize the US so this is funny af )
Some of my favorites are OddTaxi, which was a big success but not that popular bc of the art direction. Sing Yesterday for me is also another great one if youre into slice of life genre.
