Good morning folks, simple question for you. What sorts of egg alternatives exist out there? I'm specifically looking for something that I can make an omelette-like type of food with. Something that replicates the egg taste and texture as closely as possible.
I've been trying really hard to stick to fully plant based diet. Haven't had any dairy in weeks or eggs in months. Years since I last ate meat. But lately I've been having weird cravings for omelettes because I used to eat one for breakfast every morning.

Personal experience and what I've heard from others, it tends to amplify anxiety. Some people have no issue with it but honestly it's not worth the risk in my opinion. Acid and weed separately are super groovy and chill for me, but combining them gave me terrible panic attacks.
Well, to be honest, I've only been here a couple months, so it's hard to say exactly. But when I first came here I thought it was a breath of fresh air. The usual garbage you see on reddit, everywhere, no matter the sub, was totally absent. It was unique and the first time I'd ever seen such an open and uncompromising LGBT positive space, IRL or internet. The first time I'd ever seen so many people who I agree with politically.
Now it just feels like another subreddit, with the garbage flooding back in. I have no interest in getting in petty internet arguments that have zero purpose other than wasting, truly wasting, time. I have no interest in bullying or being bullied.
The only other instance I've enjoyed seeing is lemmygrad because they seem to have a similar vibe as you do here. The rest just feel like reddit again, which I'm not interested in revisiting.
I'm not sure if I'll stick around, but I do wish I had learned of hexbear.net sooner so I could've seen more of the cozy pre-federation vibe. But from reading comments from long time users, it seems they got bored of that and wanted to be bullies? I don't get that at all, personally I think they may have taken it for granted. But it's probably not my place to say.

Yes it's personally made and I'd say it took maybe 4-5 weeks before I was able to write as easily as I can normally but even before that it wasnt hard. You just have to write slower as you're learning. I started practicing it whenever I could. Even my grocery lists are written that way, lol
I hand write with a cipher. Even snoopers won't have a clue what I've written.
