What party is everyone currently running?
  • I'm really enjoying this setup:

Custom Asmodeus Paladin - Oathbreaker (does a bit of everything)
    Karlach Barbarian - Wildheart (Frontline)
Shadowheart Cleric - Trickery Domain (Support)
Astarion Rogue - Thief (Stealth Archer)

My typical strategy is for Karlach and my character to storm in and do a bunch of damage up close, while Astarion sneaks around for stealth attacks, and Shadowheart handles the buffs and whatnot (aided by my character, who also has Eldritch Blast).

Working really well so far! Plus, my character can speak with the dead and handle speech checks, Karlach can speak to animals, Astarion can pick locks, and Shadowheart helps out with rolls as well (I can't remember what that is called at the moment). So lots of bases are covered outside of combat!

  • Starfield Is the Biggest Game for Xbox Since Halo 5 - IGN
  • What are all of your general expectations for Starfield? I feel like in my corner of the internet, people are generally being very skeptical and pessimistic. I think this is fair, based on the last few years of Bethesda.

  • One week after the release, how are you enjoying the game? Is it everything you hoped it would be?
  • This is really surprising to me. I am 30 hours in, and I don't really think I've encountered a single bug. Definitely nothing game-breaking. The weirdest thing I've seen is the camera go inside some characters or a wall during a cutscene, and that only once or twice for a second. What sorts of problems have you had?

  • Baldur's Gate 3 is so good, and this is coming from someone who struggled to get into isometric CRPGs in the past (really wanted to get into Divinity: Original Sin 2, but couldn't make it stick; I'll probably have to revisit that after loving this so much). Definitely give this one a go!
