Fukushima, in 2024,is a city of 272569 inhabitants. If that's unlivable, I'm fine with it. Hiroshima, Nagazaki and Chernobyl are all inhabited too.
Saying that nuclear stuff makes places unlivable is plain wrong, it's anti-science. It's comics level of bullshit science. Travel in time is a more serious theory than nuclear stuff destroying the planet.
Chernobyl yes, let's talk about it : after the catastrophy, 2 reactors were used until very recently (like until 10 or 20 years ago).
After the catastrophy, Chernobyl was made into an exclusion zone where people wouldn't be allowed to live. But people came back 10 years after and it's a small village now.
BTW even Hiroshima and Nagazaki that were annihilated with atomic bombs, that is weapons meant to destroy whole cities, were quickly inhabited again.
So much for the permanent destruction and millions of years of contamination. CO2 is a far more deadly compound for mankind than any radioactive material. Anti-nuke militants are merely ignorant fanatics.
And that cannot happen. It's a fear people have because they equate a nuclear power plant with a nuclear bomb. That is as wrong as considering the earth flat.
A nuclear power plant cannot destroy a city.
Renewable are so cheap, especially when we don't need as much energy! Fortunately we won't need as much energy in winter now. :-)
As if the party and politiciens who scheme, organise and communicate had absolutely no responsibility whatsoever. This is a fraud: liberals are never going to admit their responsibility in the rise of fascism because their whole philosophy is about denying their responsibility in anything. Fuck that. Liberals had all powers for so long, and yet they still refuse to see their own responsibility and in the US are blaming the leftists for the Trump victory.
Maybe don't make all your strategy relying on leftists voting against fascism and sacrificing everything else next time.
Fuck off with that. That's what happens when people in the centre sacrifice everything to keep the liberal agenda going, even if it means fascism is the next step.
Liberals always make compromises with their right, and never with their left. That is the problem. The left is warning of the problem for decades.
Well, if capitalism could tolerate true journalism, journalists would be paid like managers.
The problem is liberalism, something the boomers inflicted on us.
Russia won't ask for this deal. This was what they had in 2014. Would they have not started the fu scale invasion, they would have Crimea still, and the West would still think Russia is reasonable. They started the war to get the dombass fully, to put a puppet on the government, and to make a safe zone around the sea.
What you're suggesting would mean the war was entirely useless to russia, which I doubt they can afford to settle for.
At some point you can be antiwar all you like it's not in your hands. In this case it's puttin that need to be antiwar, and as long as he isn't, Ukraine or Europe cannot be antiwar. It's sad, but a harsh reality. You need peaceful neighbors to be at peace.
Crimea is easier to take back than the dombass. Realistically, the dombass will be almost impossible to take back by force, but Crimea is a very realistic objective, although it's also the most precious to russia.
Saying that Ukraine should forget about Crimea is saying that Ukraine should abandon all territories held by Russia today.
That's been dismantled already. He already tried it and failed. EU managed to work something that doesn't need Hungary approval to be done. It was a small step toward confederacy, which is is a nice turn of event if you ask me.
I wish it was, but it isn't. It usually about them being able to ban you from playing for whatever reason they deem worthy.
Liberals are the best at pretending that nothing is their fault, ever. It's always the fault of the leftists, a coincidence, or bad luck. Being liberal is like the art of being the most irresponsible you can be.
The problem with Harris is the problem of all liberals: they don't understand the problems liberalism is causing. Fascism offers terrible solutions to those problems, and thus it wins.
Well, technically a solution of a quantum mechanic equation is a projection on a vector space, so a mediocre answer is merely a projection on this <accurate ; stupid> vector space.
So your comparison is actually brilliant!
I'm not sure Europe can make F35 parts for example, which will not fly for long without it, or ammunitions for various US weapons. I hope it'll be a wake up call to make and use EU instead.
No. I mean the weapons they have now. F35 for example. If a war happens in Europe, will those planes be useful without US support and authorizations? US can do a lot of harm to Europe with that.
The biggest thing will be all those nato countries who can't do anything with their US weapons if the US says so.
