Prince of Persia Lost Crown on mobile and having a blast!
the only answers you're really going to get from Lemmy are more suggestions for Federated social medias
Well, I'm fairly new to federation, but it does make a lot of sense, and it is objectively better than relying on any corporation product—past, present, or future ones.
Some people want free speech, other people do not want free speech, some people want extreme moderation some people want relaxed moderation. I came here because I thought it was going to be more relaxed than Reddit but it's actually not LOL
Isn't this exactly what federation is supposed to address? If you don't like the moderation in an instance, you find one that suits your needs. There are (or there could be, at least) instances with stricter moderation and other with absolute free-speech anarchy.
The issues, at the moment, are a much smaller user base, less communities variety as compared to Reddit, and a bit of a learning curve at the very beginning. But I think it's a matter of time, and of how quickly Reddit will go downhill.
As a general rule, you shouldn't salt the water "generously" because the pecorino is already quite salty itself. Also, you wouldn't need to use parmigiano to balance the taste, but that's up to you to modify the recipe how you like it.
Thanks. It seems like the message you see might be due, while misleading, to the device hardware rather than it's OS version. At least that's what came up as one of the possible reasons after a web search.
One more reason to keep "outdated" games still on the list, as they might work for someone!
Says it's made for an older version of android, and won't let me download
That's odd, but also it isn't the first time someone tells me that a game is outdated while seeming to be fine on my end. May I ask what device and Android version you use?
Thanks for reporting this by the way!
Necessary evil, but it'll make Americans filthy rich in the long run. New golden age is coming. Trust him, bro

Underhand seems to be outdated
What does it say? It looks good on my end, with Android 14.
Can I suggest Drill Down
Yes, I'll add this as it's also FOSS. Thank you!
If you have other suggestions, next time please also provide a link to the game. This one has been delisted fron the Play Store so I found it on itch.io
Real life always comes first so do take your time! But it's good to know the app hasn't been abandoned. Thanks for the quick update :)
By cross-referencing Chat GPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and the OG Google search, I've added the 120 FPS indicator (as 120FPS
) to the handful of titles that support it in my list of premium games. Took me a couple hours to go through the bullshit they were spitting out, but it beats checking 100+ games one by one lol
I'm not sure any of the titles in the list of FREE games support 120 FPS, but I'll double check.
Keep in mind that, as I found out during the process, if a games doesn't support 120 FPS now, doesn't mean it never will. The 120 FPS support to some games has been added long after release.
It's still time-consuming and hard work, because I'll have to check on ALL games in the list. I can't just do it with some, or it will be confusing. I will think about it.
In the meanwhile you can:
- check this list of 120fps games from June 2020: https://www.smartprix.com/bytes/best-android-games-higher-refresh-rate-phones-for-with-90hz-or-120hz-display-phones/
- try asking Chat GPT or Perplexity. They can make a list similar to mine and divided it into genre, however I'm not sure to what degree they're reliable
No, sorry. It would be too hard to check on all games and it'd be too niche.
Oh I didn't know that
Don't forget all smartphones—except iPhones of course—still use Android, which is a Google OS with Google services. In the smartphone world, there's no real alternative to American companies. It's pretty much an American monopoly.
Issue: searching a word within a post doesn't scroll the page to visualize matching items
That's awesome! Also one of the reasons why I started these lists, to not forget games myself XD
You're welcome :)
I was shadowbanned, so I signed up for Lemmy for the long term, and made another account on Reddit because who gives a shit about "ban evasion".
Will keep using both till I'll be permabanned; Reddit still has more of the communities I'm interested in. I hope Reddit fucks up even more so there'll be another exodus to Lemmy.
Unciv is there in the list, under Strategy. It's on the Play Store too.
I shall add F-droid, github and any other source too when I have time, but I'll need help from the community because I don't know many of those
