I have just been doing some ghost recon on this today actually. I see they are hoping to make it more embeddable like webkit is. I can't wait for that api because I'm building an app that has need of that. In fact I ran my reveal.js presentation I use for my church in it tonight. It can't do video yet, but most of the presentation was fine. I think animations were a bit wonky.
That said, I think they both are great. Servo doesn't want to be the browser itself while ladybird is looking to be both. I'd love to build my own qutebrowser like browser around servo once it's more ready.
This is why millenials, despite all else wrong with us, are the best generation. I asked a kid the other day if they knew what a directory was..... Crickets.
Stoked for you! Here is to hoping it'll not bite you with any failing parts in the near future so you'll have time to get used to how things work! We've only had ours for almost a year now and I've already replaced half the house. But we got a fixer upper. Lol
No clue why except i think people are mostly just really fed up with Mozilla making a non profit about everything but their browser. I could see a lot of people prefer the name and the willingness to try new stuff compared to floorp.
But really i think most of it is it's very different from Firefox and people are tired of Firefox.... But still hate chromium.
Doesn't not having sex do that a little better tho? Like i totally get the point, but also, having sex gives chance of baby right? So, don't do it unless you ready? Maybe I'm wrong.
Lols. Yea i actually hate that. No i gave been begging my org to just treat interns differently and actually help them rather than let them sink or swim. Most of the interns we get are expected to know all the ins and outs, but they are just kids yet basically. So i think hiring managers honestly should lower the bar and then the org needs to properly train and teach them to get em up to speed. Maybe it takes six months but it's about time we start investing in our people.
college is still useful tho. It does require some determination and persistence to get through, or at least tolerance for dealing with. "This is the way to learn" junk.
most actually useful knowledge is gained on the job
I think most people fresh out of high school aren't ready for a real job, but college grads are barely ready too to be honest. Hyper generalized and i bet most people reading this are actually very qualified, that said I've met many college grads interning with us who just don't have the fortitude to do it just yet, hopefully by their second job they've grown accustomed to the dumb way of life we all call work.
Most of the time i get them from specific trusted sources. Then i hash them to make sure they are still the same file the author says it is. Like johncena cracks or similar.
And funny! 😁
