I’ve just created my perfect automated music setup, including getting new recommendations
  • Nice write-up. Not really for me as I prefer to keep my library made up of whole albums and min. 320kbps since I ditched Spotify.

Check out Symfonium if you haven't and you're using Android - it's by far the best subsonic client I've used.

  • Please add cocte.au and leminal.space

  • What series did you rewatch most often?
  • Loved Studio 60 but still haven't given Sports Night a proper watch. I'll get around to it one day.

  • What series did you rewatch most often?
  • The West Wing

  • How it going here? I'm looking forward to helping fuck up Reddit's IPO.
  • I've heard there's a bug that can cause old posts to show in Hot if your instance admins haven't restarted Lemmy in a while.

  • Thunderbird 115 "Supernova" launched
  • Looking forward to trying it. It has been over a decade since I last used it.

Anyone know if Google Tasks can be integrated?

  • Sorting by new on Lemmy isn’t a dumpster fire experience like it is on Reddit
  • No worries! I used it myself today with great success. Thanks for the awesome tool.

  • The Office was so advanced for its time
  • How very dare.

  • pict-rs volume growing fast

  • No, and it's unlikely there ever will be. Jerboa is the closest thing as it's a project by one of the main Lemmy devs.

  • What do you use to actually manage your stuff?
  • NAS hosting all media and running:

    • Sonarr for grabbing and managing TV shows
    • Radarr does the same for movies
    • Lidarr just for an overview of upcoming/missing music releases
    • Navidrome to stream music (replaces Spotify)
    • Jackett to manage torrent indexers
    • qBittorrent via OpenVPN

Plus a VM running Nicotine+ (Soulseek client) for music sharing.

  • If we call reddit users redditors, what do we call lemmy users
  • Lemmingtons for us Aussie users

  • Why do people host Lemmy instances and how do they pay for them?
  • Since a lot of you are here, are there any good communities for Lemmy admin discussion?
