As far as I’m aware they are not - they have a lining inside that contains plastic. At least that’s what I remember of paper coffee cups for example. But yes - where I live they are still supposed to be sorted as paper products.
In Germany you can usually bring your own containers for takeout. Many restaurants have also switched to using paper-based takeout containers.
The original had not much success until the cover?? Where did you get that information from?
YAML is pretty good for readability, pretty awful for writability
+1 for cotton T shirt corner! Been doing that for 20 years as well
Linkin Park’s Hybrid Theory
Maybe this is controversial - I really like Wes Anderson’s films but they’re more of a visual treat than anything else.
Since JavaScript is newer than Python, sure JS is the Python of programming languages /s
I use the Magic Trackpad exclusively - I haven’t used a mouse in years I think!
Fantasy
The Lord of the Rings for sure
Looks like using ‘request desktop website’ bypasses this!
It’s gotten worse recently - previously I could dismiss that and still see the whole tab. Now after seeing visiting a few tab pages, it prevents me from seeing any on mobile. Switching to private browsing works, but gosh it is annoying!
I would love to hear other people’s experiences with travel fatigue - what do you think caused it, how did you respond, and did it go away or change at some point?
I love traveling, both to meet faraway friends and to discover new experiences but I’m currently in the midst of a slump.
Just a shot in the dark but I thought it’s worth trying:
I bought this old Brother machine, but it came without a foot pedal. The machine has a power cable and another cable with a 2-pin flat prong female connector, which is where the pedal is supposed to go.
It looks very similar to this machine on EBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/283520681227?_ul=IN
All the “universal” pedals I see online don’t have this kind of connector. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement, or even what type of pedal I’m looking for?
