I think i already have drives plugged into the PERIF1 port....i'm doing a case swap today so i'll be able to double check, if i'm not using it.....i will be shortly :-)

I've got an EVGA 750 G3 and I've run out of sata power. If I order more 6pin to 3x Sata power cable (yes, one that is meant for the 750 G3) can I plug it into a 8pin VGA port on the PSU?
I didn't think it would work due to the retention clip location on the 6pin being offset vs the middle of the 8pin, but i tried it on a spare PSU just to see if it would go in and I was surprised it does.
Is it safe to do this? Seems like a better idea then running splitters or molex to sata adapters. My unRAID system only takes about 175w full tilt, so we'll under the 750.
