what VPN are you using ?
  • Me too.

However, I use it mainly with my arr setup to torrent stuff and after they remove port forwarding feature, I’m looking for a solid provider that supports port forwarding.

  • How to opt out of the privacy nightmare that comes with new Hondas
  • Then it’ll lock 70% of features and nag and spam you every time you start the car with warnings and notifications.

I bought a samsung tv recently and I was shocked that only the antenna tv wotks without a samsung account.

  • UK-US air strikes launched against Houthis in Yemen
  • I’m stunned how media can swings population opinion in a snap of a finger.

The same US administration brainwashed many people to believe Saudi Arabia is bad because they were at war with Houthis.

Houthis are a tool similar to Hamas and Hezbollah in Lebanon. They can be controlled remotely.

  • Intel's Meteor Lake CPUs are slower at single-core work than previous-gen models — new benchmarks show IPC regressions vs Raptor Lake
  • That was long time ago. I believe the game was BF1.

I know it’s hard to speculate but 100% cpu usage for solid 5~7 seconds only for 8 cores cannot be separate workload (single threaded). A spike is understandable tho.

The game play wasn’t impacted to be honest.

  • I bought Ryzen 3950x 16 cores 32 threads.

The first thing I noticed is some AAA games only utilize 8 cores. When you go multi threaded, it’s a matter of adding more threads which can dynamically selected based on the host hardware. AAA game studios are going the bad practice route.

I understand if they port an algorithm optimized to run on specific hardware as it’s. But, a thread count?

    Open Meteo hourly forecast

I added Open Meteo integration but the hourly forecast doesn’t work. After investigating the api response, I concluded that the hourly query wasn’t present in the request.

Is these a way to add it manually?

Reddit is now randomly refusing to show posts without login. In iOS, it’ll redirect me to App Store

I use RSS to fetch reddit posts for subs that are not active in Lemmy.

Sometimes I need to read the comments so I’d view the post from safari. Today, I tried like 3 post and when click on view post, it would redirect me to the App Store.

When I decided to screenshot the page to make this post, it did show the post but would refuse like 1 out of 5 times.

Is there a stable version of Windows 98 to play retro games on VM?

I installed Windows 98 on Virtualbox to play old games but it has problems with graphics driver.

Is these an iso or drivers made for VM that make play old games on Windows 98 running smoothly?
