OLED monitor momentum expected to continue — analysts expect 1.34 million units shipped by year end
  • I use dark mode, but I turned on the night light feature and at some point, I think I adjusted the black down so it wasn't so black?

It's so bad that I can't use my phone for more than a few minutes at a time because I can't do anything else after that. My eyes are so blurry I don't feel safe driving.

  • Linux users are the vegans of the computer world
  • But for real? Linux is actually so great. I'm running a shitty old PC as a media server and learning Linux as I go. It's so light and nimble compared to a Windows machine. For anyone considering Linux, I highly recommend trying it out even if it's just for funsies.

  • Fstoppers on YouTube: Printer Ink, It's a SCAM
  • I have an Eco Tank for work. It's okay. The print quality isn't impressive, but it does the job. The ink is about $100 CAD for the 4 colours, but we get many hundreds of pages out of that. Just be sure to use it regularly because the nozzles are finicky bitches.

  • For your consideration, `updog`
  • Wait.. what? I didn't even consider this could be an option. Is anyone willing to point me at some accurate information about how to get started? Like.. where do I put a bash file, and how is it structured? How can I automate it? So many questions. I'm only sort of familiar with bash, as in I've seen the term and watched my coworker do some wizardry once.

  • Having trouble with folder permissions on Linux

I'm very new and I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but is there any way to set folder (and future subfolder) permissions on Ubuntu?

I use the Arrs and new folders are made automatically when something completes, but I constantly have to use Plex to optimize my videos before they'll play. Unfortunately, the new folders get locked when they're made.

I'm not sure what I've done to my setup, but I'd love some help if anyone is willing.
