Without doing any research, I'd be hard pressed to believe they didn't support trump all the way.
I actually don't mind paying for stuff I use or get value from.
I do have smartyoutubetv Installed on both an Nvidia Shield and a Google TV, I originally did it when my kid was on a child account but couldn't sign into the Google yt app. I kinda wish Futo would make a TV version of Grayjay I'd probably use it.
I use premium for both YouTube and yt music and it's our primary music streaming service too. I even have 11 CCA (Chromcast audios) powering rooms all over the house where we listen to ytm from.
There are a few apps you can get for like Google TV (nvidia shield etc..) Like smartyoutubetv. But they've gotta be side loaded. So you need to install some way to get the APK on the device. It's all doable, but it's a pain.
I'd prefer just paying and losing the ads. Since I'm dreaming, I'd also like a check box to remove shorts all together from my experience.
The only problem I have with the premium subscription is the lack of ad control from the content creator. They should have to put them into some kind of wrapper that I, as a premium member can decide to enable or not. As a paying subscriber I should be able to watch it 100% ad free without going through sponsorblock, which is a big pita to do on set-top boxes.
I will sit through ads of the people I watch that are small and trying to make a buck above YT's pittance. OR, maybe YT could share a little of that sweet sweet profit with them and then not allow them to do their own ads (hahahahaha)
Guess it might be time to disable zelle on my bank. I've used it I think twice with people I know but I guess we're left to take our protection into our own hands by just not being willing to use a flawed system with not enough safeguards.

Since 2015 ish I started unfollowing both left and right side friends because of political talk from people on my friends list on Facebook. I really have pruned it to be only people that post stuff they're doing. Same for people that only forward stuff. (News or whatever).
I broke down and posted about yesterday on my feed with a link to a YouTube video of the press conference. Expressing how utterly disgusted I was.
It's a minor thing but it should make it very clear how I feel and the line we crossed with that display.

Taco Bell started scamming people a long time ago by charging more for their "food" and primarily giving you lettuce and a shell.
If I order, and pay extra for a GRILLED CHICKEN soft taco, I don't want .1oz of chicken, 3oz of lettuce, and 6 thin pieces of shredded cheese.
I swore that place off years ago even though it WAS one of the fast food joints I would visit on occasion.
Their damage was already done with that CEO statement (for me), since after those remarks I cancelled my VPN plan with them. I'm not someone who's going to then follow them around and post negative comments on their Mastodon, X, reddit account whenever they post. I'm just going to walk away.
So, they will move to where their base is, just like trump did and they can sell there stuff to a smaller percentage of the market if they want. I will never understand why a company would actively try to cut their sales base in half or whatever.
I was a videopass subscriber for YEARS, and when they did the big update a couple years ago making the app terrible it ultimately, along with a few retirements, led to me just not subscribing anymore.
The app changes made it impossible to navigate to previous races or catch up if you missed a race or two. We were traveling or something that causes my wife and I to get behind, and I struggled to use the app to find the race and watch it. I don't understand who could have developed that UI to make it so terrible but it helped push me away.
I catch highlights here and there now, but do not watch it much anymore. Which is a shame, but after some retirements, every bike out there being a Ducati and the stupid MotoGP App, it kind of just went 'meh' for me.
I mean, unless they actively go in and take those things off the schedule, my "mychart" tells me what I'm due for. Or, as someone that can read the calendar, I can figure out that each fall if I plan to get a flu shot, that's the time to do it.

That's not at all what I said. The meat Industry already exists and is scaled profitable, even if it's terrible for our planet.
I said to get any scale of another version, it's going to have to be as equally profitable or corporations are not going to go for it.
Sustainable, scalable and profitable.
I am 100% in that category. I have some aspirations to be in a lifestyle where I catch a lot of my own fish but zero desire to move off animal protein to a vegetarian lifestyle.
