While I agree with your sentiment.... millionaires and billionaires should not be lumped together. This conflation is actually a super useful tool for the billionaires (and mega millionaires) to use when convincing the middle and lower economic classes to vote in their favor.
Realistically, millionaire today basically just means homeowner. As ridiculous as it sounds, a million dollars is not an "enormous" sum of money in today's world.

You could try an hdmi audio extractor and pipe that into a raspberry pi with the appropriate hat and run a real-time volume normalization dsp then run from the pi to your sound system or BACK into some hdmi encoder.
Probably run into major issues with delayed audio though.
I've had several brands. I'm sure none were privacy respecting. But beyond that they're all crap. They all break down and end up requiring near constant maintenance. They also don't do a very good job of vacuuming.
Better off getting a half decent vacuum (extra points if it uses bags because.... Bagless is fucking stupid) and for little clean up jobs get a manual sweeper like some restaurants use.
Not sure if it's a factor for you but roku tries to phone home a lot more than anything else on my network (or perhaps my firewall just catches it more than other devices and apps). Otherwise roku is pretty good.
Nvidia shield tv is better though. It's the best set top box. Made even better by replacing the default launcher/ home screen (android TV default launcher now has 2/3 or more of the screen taken up by ads or "recommended content" which is just ads).

Realistically, while I'm inclined to look back to the late 1800s and early 1900s, there's no one alive today that was alive at that time. 1 or 2 generations later can you expect everyone to forget the events of the past? Maybe not.
It's a really classic example (maybe THE classic example) of violence begetting violence. Unfortunately the violent tendencies and hatred are institutionalized. It's clearly not an easy problem to solve, but I'm fairly certain that violent terrorist attacks against civilians is not in the running for a solution.
EDIT: just to add, going back a thousand years takes us to the time of the crusades, during and after which there were Arab attacks driving out non-arabs... and Arab attacks against other Arab factions (not blind to the fact that all Arabs are not a monolithic group).
Going back a little further you have a history of violence and discrimination against the Jews and Arabs (and pagans and other people) by the Roman's. You can see how hard it is to find a stopping point in the history of violence in the region.
So yes while the CURRENT conflict probably only tracks back a hundred or so years, the history of conflict in general in the region goes back thousands of years (probably 4 thousand years but im not sure there are even stories, much less even somewhat reliable historical accounts that go back much further than that).

I put this together for my raid group text but thought others might like it. Kind of a summary of the 15 voice over messages from Osiris's data crawler decoding saved log entries about the Veil.
Please chime in if I've got something wrong, or with more info!

This was from around 3 weeks ago. I pretty religiously (pun intended) blocked and reported ads from the "hegetsus" fundie christian bs group for probably 6-8 months. Naively I thought it actually started making a difference.
Then I just get served an ad from them with a little note that this was "Posted from a blocked account".
"Blocked"... you keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means...
I really like nearly all of Wes Anderson's work. I heard someone say this was like Wes Anderson trying to make a Wes Anderson movie... and I agree. Not that that's a bad thing, but things can often come across a little cheesy when someone knowingly "turns it up to 11" so to speak.
Also, it felt like this was (perhaps arguably) Anderson's most "meta" film. Again, not terrible, but also very on the nose and not very subtle.
All said, I do feel like I would like to watch it a few more times before really cementing where I put it among Anderson's other work. Right now it's probably mid-tier for me.
Love to hear other people's thoughts.

Finally got the Wingspan Nesting Box. It fits all the current expansions and has room for the future. I swear it must clock in at like 20lbs.
Still a little annoyed that all the Wingspan stuff that holds sleeved cards won’t fit the mote or less widely available and “standard” sleeves (Wingspan cards are not the same size as many other games) but thats not really anything a little 3D printing can’t fix.
