I have read about the war in Donbas while it started.
I was following the news while Russians were "vacationing" in Donbass in their BMPs just as the"totally organic" thing started.
I remember them being so dumb (or brazen) as to post geolocated Instagram photos from the hatches of their vehicles.
I remember the bragging on вк about downing a Ukrainian military transport and then the panicked clean up as they found hundreds of civilians abd their luggage.
And I have been arguing a lot of people like you and in some weird way I enjoy exposing people like you either you are young edgelords, paid ruzzian trolls or just Americans who have been fooled and are now running the errands of a genocidal regime.
"Don't argue with an engineer, he'll drag you down on a technical level and beat you with the facts and what is worse - after a while you realize he enjoys doing it."
At no point have I denied Holocaust or Holodomor or any of the other ghastly things Russia and Nazi Germany did.
Intent matters more, just because ruzzians[1] are inept doesn't make it less punishable.
[1]:happy now that I have narrowed it down to only those who actively support it instead of the vast majority who just passively support it?
Whataboutism doesn't bite on me.
As for Ukrainians calling all Russians orcs I cannot blame them after the horrors of Bucha, Olevnika, Mariupol, the endless targeting of infrastructure, all while the general Russian population not only doesn't care but openly support it.
But you would have cried foul over Poles cursing Germans in 1945 too pointing out innocent Germans did possibly exist, so I don't care too much.
A good part of the ethnic Russians fight on Ukrainian side. If you weren't aware, for a lomg time Russian was the official language of the Azov Battalion.
But you go on believing Russian lies even after Prigozhin has admitted openly that all the stories were a lie.
So easy to beat someone when you leave out half the sentence:
I wrote "Tell me one thing Hitlers regime did that Putins regime hasn't done on a smaller scale".
And yes, Putin hasn't done the holocaust, because they thankfully aren't well enough organized to do that.
The rhetoric is there as I already mentioned. The smaller scale "disappearances" of civilians Nacht und Nebel style and experiments on larger scale exterminations like Olevnika are there.
Word plays won't get you anywhere.
And if it it racist to point out that Putins regime is evil but thankfully dumb then so be it.
Someone would probably tried to arrest me for hate speak against the nazis too.
I don't see the link here.
Tell me one thing Hitlers regime did that Putins regime hasn't done one a smaller scale. I'll start with the only thing I am not aware of Putins regime having done: medical experiments on prisoners (although I personally think "punitive psychiatry" is close enough).
Things everyone knows:
- baseless aggression against most neighbors; check
- a history of genocidal warfare: check (ask Chechens)
- their own Direlewanger Sturm Brigade made from convicts: check (Sturm Z)
- propagandists openly agitating for genocide (burning or drowning Ukrainian kids): check (as I said I have followed both sides)
- forced removal of children (also falls under genocide): check
- denying people to speak their own language and punishing them for it (also falls under genocide): check
- terror bombing cities with no military value like Germans during the blitz: check
- breaking agreements (like the Budapest Memorandum): check
- killing prisoners en masse: check (although thankfully Putler doesn't have the logistical evil geniuses from Endlösung working for him)
- razing cities to the ground like Warszaw and preventing the population from fleeing: check (see Mariupol)
I even have two more that I am not aware of the Nazis doing:
- blatantly breaking their own cease fires to shell agreed upon evacuation corridors for both civilians and unarmed military personnel
- openly arguing for and taking practical steps to use hunger in the third world for their own political advantage.
I hope this should be enough to convince everyone except for the dumbest of the dumbest that Russians are almost just like (thankfully) dumb Nazis with less stylish uniforms.
Yeah, why not let Hitler Putler occupy us?
I mean: how bad can it be?

Oh the tired arguments of ruzzians.
This is about cracking down on leaders who haven't thrown out leaders under them who have been corrupt.
This is a good thing.
And that whole argument: why aren't you on the frontlines is so tired, and didn't make sense in the first place.
Who wants an old Norwegian who barely knows both Russian and Ukrainian on the frontlines when he can be at home financing drones and telling his government to step up support?
I was kind of neutral when this broke out last year.
That is, I have spent more time learning Russian than many others, but didn't like neither Ukraine nor Russia, only found Russia interesting for 20 or so years.
After having followed both sides on Telegram and Twitter for more than a year I have changed and I say there are no more "both sides" here than back when we finished of the nazis. The Russians are just as evil, just thankfully a whole lot less organized.
I cannot defend everything Ukrainians do, but I also cannot defend everything allies did during WW2, only point out that there is an orderof magnitude or more between them and their opponents.
I totally understand why Ukrainians call Russian orcs, and so would you if you had followed both sides closely.
