  • No GameCube? I guess Wii then, assuming it's the backwards compatible model.

    Rest in Peace, Yuzu
  • It's sad to see it go. As a game preservationist, being able to back up and emulate your games is so important to me. Not to mention a game like TotK can't even reach it's full potential on a retail Switch, and Yuzu allows that game to be played in 4K at 60fps if you have the computing power to drive it. Overall, it was probably the right call for Tropic Haze to give in to Nintendo now rather than battle them (as much as I didn't want to see Nintendo win this) because a court battle could have challenged emulation as we know it. A settlement avoids that for now. I don't support piracy at all, but I can't say it suprises me considering how Nintendo treats its customers and the gaming community as a whole.

  • Sonic Adventure - Sonic raising Chao
  • Yeah! There was a mini-game called "Chao Adventure" that would let your chao go for a walk with little events that would happen along the way. It was also the only way to see your chao's stats and name them.

  • Gamers Nexus: 5600X3D CPU To Release July 7, 2023 in the U.S.

Gamers Nexus just published a video detailing the upcoming release of AMD's 5600X3D CPU. Looks like it will be a U.S. and Micro Center exclusive product as there weren't enough yields to release the product globally. The CPU is supposed to be $230 at launch. This will be one last hurrah for anyone on AM4, and if it's anything like the 5800X3D (which to some extent it should be, it's apparently a failed/cut down 5800X3D), then it might be a good upgrade option for anyone using a 3000 series Ryzen CPU or older. Of course, definitely wait for reviews before buying, those should be up July 6th. What are your thoughts on this? Is anyone planning to upgrade to it if there performance is compelling? I think even though it's unfortunate that it's a U.S. only launch, it's much better than AMD just throwing out the CPUs.
