What’s the most overhyped tech trend right now?
  • Other than AI, it’s automation. It’s pretty good when it works but has the same overall intent as AI (in reducing the human labor force), just on a smaller level. At least automation isn’t consistently delivering inaccurate information.

  • I'm sure the women will be so very sad
  • There's a lot of people that often get thrown into the "eugenics" crowd; but they're actually advocating for no one to have kids at all. It's not about selective genetics; it's about less people overall.

  • I need a Glassdoor account AND a review of a previous employer to see reviews on the website
  • I remember back in 2017, talking to the director of marketing at the company I was at at the time, and she was telling me about how she spent all day getting bad reviews removed from Glassdoor. I didn't use it much before that, but I haven't visited the site once since then.

  • Do remote workers actually work? Yes, but they also shop and shower
  • It’d be cool if the media did a piece about how companies are stealing the excess labor of their employees. It will never happen though because “the media” also steals the excess labor from it’s employees.
