All arab related communities are modded by the same person, panarab and he's a PTB, so.. (Also an asshole in general so i'd steer clear)

I think of running a saudi/arab community here on lemmy but i think it may be too tiring, especially since i'm one of the more westernized arabs (despite not living in the west lol)

Edit I was talking about data like IP addresses, and cookies. I feel it's fine that admins can see what you do on your account since it kind of has to be public.

I mean, social media is inherently not private, everything you do is public; even votes (though some software supports private voting)

Discord has messages, not threads. It gets messy if you try to have multiple ongoing "threads" (just descord messages) at the same time.

And communities are easier to find and join than discord servers. (You can also lurk without joining.)
