Armored core looking gun
What's a that old saying "you can't a convince a man against something his salary depends on"? Or something.
Liberals believe what they do because they have to to maintain their positions. You'll never convince a homeowner that's interested in their property values that crimes against humanity are occurring to raise said value. Time and time again they've been patiently explained too and their views still allow for horror. Absent explication these laws have obvious conclusions of which even incurious people should easily be able to divine, the fact so many cannot or claim to not shouldn't be surprising to a materialist. The serene explanations can be set aside for something else.
Y'all are the two wolves in me.
I don't disagree. He should have been shot 2 years ago. Now he needs to be put in a care facility
It was so bad. I haven't been paying close attention but biden is being elder abused. He looked scared for a lot of the debate. He def deserves it but idk I can't stomach seeing someone hurt.
That haircut was a meme in Philadelphia about 10 years ago. The fact that it went mainstream is deeply funny to me.
I can't read this, I've squited to the point of eye closure.
Could the same not be said about Hexbear/Lemmy?
No, they're not amateur historical records. 5th graders do not look up information about the trail of tears or Tienanmen square here.
While there certainly have been cases where people acting directly at the behest of capitol have been caught directly editing Wikipedia, these changes are typically caught and reversed.
This is beyond naive.
These open platforms reflect the values and biases of the people who contribute to them.
And large orgs can "correct the record" and do.
Leftists contribute to Hexbea
Nope just
So it may appear that capitol is directly editing the pages, but in reality, capitol is manufacturing consent at a global scale, and that is reflected on Wikipedia because the consumers of that manufactured consent become the producers when they go to edit Wikipedia.
A distinction without a difference.
When cracks in the neoliberal messaging begin to become evident to the masses, so too does Wikipedia reflect that: https://www.democracynow.org/2024/6/21/headlines/wikipedia_declares_adl_an_unreliable_source_on_t
Wow one of their mouthpieces was slightly inconvenienced. Wikipedia allows tons of garbage BBC. Wapo etc.
@seahorse@midwest.social do you guys frequent the same servers?
Also I saw that ur boi posted this meme in Midwest.social.
Was it a pretend fued? Sus
If its made to order in a union shop, shirt too, then 40 bucks is probably what it costs with some proceeds going to podcast and probably artist .
Most things are cheap now BC of massive exploitation. As multi polarity increases expect most things to become more inline with this shirt.
When you have a system that funnels power to the few they will wield that power to edit Wikipedia. Such a system will then render these open platforms to serve it. Wikipedia is a tool for capital and should be treated accordingly.
Look at Wikipedia
I'd rather not.
Vittles vaults are amazing. Store that shit in a swamp if you want
Can I charge it after midnight?
@seahorse@midwest.social lol wrecked
my ability to sympathize goes out the window
reactionary
I'll def be blasting off
A process called biofortification puts nutrients directly into seeds and could reduce global hunger, but it’s not a magic bullet
