This summer, #Kdenlive is all about the ASS. Yup you heard it right, .ass subtitle support is coming along with some nifty other features like multiple subtitle tracks. Stay tuned for more.
The second maintenance release of the 24.05 series is out.
\#Kdenlive 24.05.1 is here! It fixes issues with the spacer tool, effects, compositions, subtitles, and project settings. We've tackled crashes and freezes, improved undo/redo for track insertions and enabled notarization for macOS.
\#Kdenlive 24.05 is out with a huge performance boost and the usual batch of quality of life, user interface and usability improvements. It also comes with a few exciting new features like Group Effects and Automatic Subtitle Translations.
