Come on! Where's the other half?
  • This is just a random suggested post for me so I have no context as to who this is or where this screenshot came from. However, it seems like your mood would improve if you started to ignore this person. There's no reason to seek out any form of interaction with someone who makes you feel the way you described here unless you know them personally and I don't think that's the case. There's nothing wrong with venting but that's usually for things / people you are required to interact with. This seems voluntary and unnecessary.

You obviously don't have to take my advice but I would encourage you to at least ponder the question "why am I paying attention to this person?"

  • 'Hypocritical’: Anti-China GOP congressional candidate caught wearing made-in-China merch
  • I mean, everything is made in China. I'm not one to shy away from calling out Republican hypocrisy but this one seems like a stretch. There's plenty of things to criticize these guys for without making it sound like you're just looking for something to be contrarian about.

  • Constantly. Or "oh, I thought I told you already."
  • I'm not saying there's nothing to that but it seems to me that if the mere mention of suicide in just about any context is enough to send you over the edge then you were pretty close to falling off already. I find it difficult to attribute much to something like that.

  • When the fuck did we start singing "shit"?
  • It looks like hell took a dive right around 2020. I like to think the music industry collectively said "there's enough hell in the real world right now so let's sing about nicer things"

  • ‘What if there just is no solution?’ How we are all in denial about the climate crisis
  • I don't know anyone personally who thinks that the stuff he's calling green capitalism will fix the problem. For them, and me as well for that matter, it's akin to saying "recycling obviously isn't enough but my conscience won't allow me to do nothing so I guess I'll do that"

  • Rude, really.
  • Many people need access to therapy and can't get it for various (mostly financial) reasons. That's a problem. Many others obsessively seek out external factors to blame their shitty behavior on. That's just a self centered dick head being immature.

  • Filter by community default language

Can we add the option to exclude communities and/or posts that are in a different language than our chosen default? I'm guessing filtering communities would be easier than individual posts but I'm not sure how language would be flagged. I understand some people may want to see some of these posts but even multilingual people must be bombarded with posts in languages they don't speak. I'm getting pretty annoyed that half of my feed is stuff I can't read.

I've looked through the settings multiple times but I suppose it's still possible this already exists and I just missed it.
