Above poster was joking I assume
People aren't downgotinf because you're right or wrong, but because Brave is homophobic.
what's not to like? Poor ui, bad syncing. Good software, not perfect.
Syncthing-ing the vault works for me. P2p instead of cloud.
brave is pretty widely disliked by people (including me) for it's CEO's homophobia. That's probably why you're being down voted.
Kagi really isn't that pricy.
A long ago they had drama for apparently leaking user information to microsoft— but that was a while ago. Really they were accused of having biased results.
DDG uses Bing for 100% of its results.

The vast majority of people here who are self-identifying as communists don't agree with that
He made a comment sarcastically and replied to an accusation labeling himself as such
The communist part reads as sarcasm because he was accused of being one

Saw on a tangent thread on a Lemmy post about bidets that someone didn't wash their hole in the shower because "too gay"
Paul is pretty clear, but there are a few interesting arguments based on context— or of course, arguments for scrapping Paul's work.
Custom Android ROM? Linux? That's just not true. Especially considering entirely FOSS devices i.e. System76.
I'm planning to purchase a used T480, and want to know how the battery life would be on Linux. Online I see a lot of good numbers, and I am considering carrying multiple of the external batteries, but I want another opinion. Also, do you have any recommends on a good price to "go for it" and any other laptops to consider (up to but preferably well under 600 USD, good battery/portability, linux) to consider.
The newly discovered letter, written by a German Jesuit to Pope Pius XII’s personal secretary, suggests that the pope knew of Hitler’s atrocities but chose to remain silent.
I'm considering buying a new thinkpad and possibly changing the battery out for a price up to 550 dollars, but preferably less. I mean to use the device for school and travel and do value battery life most, but prefer some better performance— I will be doing some image editing and video editing. Any recommends?
Edit: Plan to use Endeavour OS
