For some cases, being marginalized is far worse than dying.
They don’t even have to kill anyone on purpose.
They intend to starve the disabled financially as community outcasts.
How do some people avoid getting banned on reddit?
Like right now?
- Not engaging in subreddits criticizing the current US government and politicians. This includes talking about any violence against groups and individuals, even in the passive, and even things like quashing bugs or shooting varmints.
- Not using English.
- Lurking only.
- Discuss only hobbies. No discussion of politics nor controversial subjects inimical to the interests of Reddit the corporation and its shareholders.
Besides the unexpected bans, there are also some heavy-handed takeovers of some subreddits that are even remotely political in nature, as original mods are allegedly kicked out and replaced with freshly-made accounts assigned as new mods. That some accounts are said to even harassed with multiple reportages coming from controlled accounts.
The supervillains are still in charge thinking up ways to destroy anyone and anything opposing them to ensure the superiority of their greedoid ultraconservatism, while the supposedly "enlightened" people who are supposed to fight those bastards as a united front are instead fighting over recriminations, ideological rivalries, and supposed levels of moral purity.
I worry more about the actual rent-seeking oligarchy in my part of the world running for political positions in next month's elections, purely for feudalistic reasons.
There, the anti-science conspiracy theorist sure to fill NIH with self-proclaimed physical therapists, snake oil profiteers, and homeopathy fans.
If it's not killing, it's him wanting to deny the disabled any financial help and government assistance, insisting the disabled are liabilities.
I guess from now on I'll use my native language now that their, uh, "mods" are squeamish about "violent language".
If that is where America is heading, to some theocracy like Iran and where men see women as chattel, then I would rather raise children elsewhere there is a culture of empathy.
