What distro you use/recommend as a daily driver for a Cybersecurity job (pentesting and Red Teaming)? Would QubeOS be a good fit?
  • i have tried out qube os yesterday but it has to be a problem with my cpu because every time my screen loads something new it is like a slideshow from top to bottom. it seels like an awesome concept bit it's not working for me. there is one github issue but no solution. and i have freezes every 2 seconds. it's a brandnew lenovo laptop

  • RPi4 Generic Pentest Setup
  • that would be cool. you could use it in your resume or present it as project you have done too. I just really like to read more about such projects and start building some stuff by myself some day too

  • recommended search engine?
  • not duckduckgo from what i remember there was something with data and microsoft but you probably research thag before you trust me bcs i dont remember all of it. searchng is good, selfhosted or public instances. good luck

  • What's your preferred DE?
  • hyprland currently but maybe switching to awesomewm or qtile. it takes effort to configure/learn them so idk if you are open to try them at the beginning. or if you prefer a conventional environment like gnome, kde, xfce...

  • Passwords

I think passwords are great what do you think?
