Confirms that what we got is going to be what we will keep getting. Rehashed weapon, rehashed mount, rehashed guild hall decorations. I feel like the price range of an indie game is well picked. What's provided is not specifically bad, but one gets ones money's worth.
Okay, Dobby is a free fucking elf.
Shouldn't have ignored everything the last three months. I had 500 hero's chest to open. Fucking hell even a slog with a mouse script.
Unid greens are already at 3+ silver, charms are closing in on 5g,
Heh, good tip. Why do you have two copies? And can you run both at the same time?

We are temporarily disabling gliding in WvW due to a crash issue and will re-enable it once the issue is resolved. Gliding is only disabled in WvW, other game modes are not affected.

Zerglings go splat. No, seriously. I think I lost a year of my life wheezing my lungs out, I haven't seen anything that hilarious in like a year.
Many events have a bit of a grace period once the last item is being given to the NPC, so others can get rid of their items and get participation. Many events also have a timer, so if you hand in the last item 15 seconds before the event ends and the NPC gives it another 60 seconds of grace period, the event fails.
Just joking, it doesn't fail. That would be an immensily inept way to design a game. All items being handed in has priority, the event checks for that before declaring fail or success state.
Except in current content. The beacon part of the Nayos meta, for example.
I swear to God the longer it goes on the more I'm convinced that the fight was about GW3 or something. The limits of their heavily modified GW1 code become more apparent the more you start recognizing the patterns, and every year it gets worse.
Taken at face value it really doesn't look good, to phrase it mildly, does it? Work/life balance has been the argument for change since 2012, fucking hell of they still don't get it right. There hasn't been a content drought since Season 3 under the old management, and if SotO is what NCNet manages to create with a dev pool as big as the one that created Season 4, then may God have mercy on their souls. All signs point toward End-of-Life milking mode, but I'll wait on their next buy-to-play Living World snippet for my final verdict. Maybe they surprise us.
We talked to Guild Wars 2 Game Director Josh Davis about the learnings from the Secrets of the Obscure expansion and what's coming to the MMO
Probably save to assume that they will keep selling half a season of Living World once a year for an almost full full box price, but I'll wait until something is actually released. Maybe it'll be more than 85% cannibalized and recycled mechanics and art assets.
Just finished it, works now.
Eleven more weeks to legendaries. Sigh.
Kind of, though with a coordinated effort to give it a bit more credibility. Scary.
And I'm pretty sure our Commander and his herald are fucking.

Oh, and that Single-Use Dungeon Portal Scroll is a scam. It doesn't even teleport you to Camilla, it drops you off at the entrance of Lion's Arch like the regular scroll. Shame.
There have been several reports of 72h bans and I'll just link to a reddit modpost.
It's most likely just a false positive, yet it'd still be annoying to get banned for half a week over nothing.

While I do not agree with your binary choice in the slightest, I did give it a test. 25 Might with rifle is no issue (not using Abstraction), Might with staff requires more than facerolling. 20+ WITH facerolling. Rifle gets smoother with Mirror Images, staff uses Mantra of Pain. Both use Mantra of Recovery for heal and clone generation. Rifle only uses one stack on recharge, staff spams the entire skill on cooldown.
I'd say that Rifle/Staff is probably going to be the support monster of choice. With staff you can trait Feedback for easy long-range rezzes and chill faceroll healspam, with rifle being your oh shit button for additional burst heal, ranged portal, extra CC. No focus then, but there's always something.
Problem with rife is the spam of all skills on cooldown, that leaves very little room for a ranged portal or anything else. Also, much of rifle's healing comes from 3, and that's either boons OR burst heal.
Rifle has 0 damage potential, staff is condi. Rifle leaves two free utility slots, maybe three. Staff two. Maybe staff & mainhand/offhand. No ranged portal, but next to everything else. Even boon strip via Null Field or Disenchanter.
If one can live without focus, staff/rifle is probably the full package.
Edit: rifle has definitely more heal, I can withstand the ticks significantly longer. Staff has me die pretty fast. Having rifle either main heal or as a backup is what you want once your group takes 5k DPS damage because a timer has ran out or something.
Just healed 100 nm Afflicted, 0 problems, absolutely fucking retarded OP. Shit's hilarious and will get only better with the rifle.

Switched MoC for Null Field in that specific case since Uber AoE Condi Removal of Doom ruled supreme in that specific encounter.
Hmmm. I could continously heal max damage at the training golem. As a Harrier Rifle Chrono. Though it was stressful and pretty close sometimes. Heal Mantra not for mantra heal but for clone generation was a twist I did not expect. Pretty clone starved.
Aura trait is useless without staff and there are no alternatives. Does Anet really expect us to swap back and forth? Nonsense, I'm not going to lock myself out of my heal skills for nine seconds.
Boons were fine. Regen, prot, alac or quick. All permanently up.
Got the rezz trait up as well. Might as well take Feedback since utilities are kind of free. Soooo....Feedback, MI, Aegis-well whatever it's called?
11/28/2023—November 28 Release Notes General Updated the icon for the Kryptis Essence Extractor effect. Removed an unintended character model from Inner Nayos. Cake is fixed, praised be the Lord.
Mirage Ambush AoE heals, but offers neither alac nor quick. Sooooo....staff/rifle?
Portal has a 1,2k range. Porn. But only one charge. Still porn.
I'd assume that Chrono jail will still be real with potentially Mirage as an option and Virt for memes.^
Edit: well fuck me up the arse. Staff Memestrel works just fine, no rifle needed. Gonna test it on Affliction 100.
Edit2: Staff/Rifle Memestrel is going to be an absolute fucking monster. Can't be arsed to live without uber rezz? Fuck Mantras, camp rifle.

Yes I stole it from Reddit.
Funnily enough I do actually visit it every once in a blue moon. It's filled to the brim with lore and ambience, and it's nice to hang out and take a stroll while waiting for something, for example. I have several such spots.
Forged with Fire is a 5min meta that pops every hour and has an easily completed heart attached to it.
Ahhh, I see. Yeah, a bit more creative would've been nice, I agree.
Ironically both weapons have their places in melee. :D Longbow 2+5 are being used in Ranger rotations IIRC and not only does Mirage GS Pewpew not care about range, several builds don't mind the damage reduction because you cast everything besides the auto attack, including ultimates, before switching back to sword or dagger.
But I get what you went for!
Everything is a melee weapon when you're in melee.
More self-harm! Healers are already thrilled for the 5k health Necro with 25 stacks of Bight and 50 stacks of Kryptis Essence Effect popping Signet of Undeath.

Skleton crew and shoestring budget. I'm reconsidering their block change by the minute. Maybe it actually was unintentional, but at that pace it's just going to be kept as a feature. Until they "fix" it ten years later like they did with Temporal Curtain.

Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue that rewarded multiple Hero's Choice chests when players completed the Road to Heitor meta-event. Fixed an issue that prevented players from opening more than one Greater Arcane Chest in Amnytas per day. Fixed an issue that caused opening the Greater Arcane Chest in Inner Nayos to count as opening a Greater Arcane Chest in Amnytas, and vice versa. Fixed an issue that caused reward chests claimed from repeatable Convergence achievements to reset the respective achievement's progress. Reduced the number of Clots of Congealed Screams needed to craft the Kryptis Wall decoration from 20 to 1.
Long-range support with an illusionary flair!
It'll take cannonballs to get out here alive! \- my HMS Divnity
I like the reactive skills, fits the Mesmer theme. Do I want my sword 3 clone to stay and cripple, or shatter it? Which of my 30 shatters should I use? Or do I use the reactive skill? Do I use it for the teleport, the root, both or neither?
Having a similiar decision chain for my support and healskills will be neat, even if it's Mesmer Light. The emergency exit portal is fucking dope and will give me life. Hopefully the rest of the weapons offers actual heals so spamming clones and Mantras won't be the only source of actual heals.
Yeah I would've noticed. I think I knew what was going on. If a super fresh map spawns right before the meta starts, the meta...doesn't start. I've talked a bit with my current Archipelago squad and that behaviour has been confirmed. So, yeah, make of that what you will. Has a right feel to me.
Just wanted to do Amnytas for the weekly, but the meta simply didn't start. That's new to me.
So I finally finished my mastery and did a convergence.
And I had a blast.
The current NCNet design has a lot of chains you're being janked around on. Dance, monkey, go search for your loot chests! Where is your loot?! Yes where is your loot??? E.g. Archipelago, Gyala. So much fun.
It's all disruptive. Stop what you're doing and wait for the boss to finish its invuln animation. For the sixth time. Go run after your loot chests after you killed your boss. Wanna do a Rift? Hunt down every single enemy that spawned at the arse end of the area and actively runs away from you.
Those orbs though? They remove a significant chunk of your health while providing a significant chunk to your DPS. If you get downed, you drop your balls like Sonic drops his rings, and others can pick them up to replenish their lost balls.
Those orbs add something to the encounter without interrupting it. Suddeny you're much more concerned with your own safety, and have a minigame of "loot the corpse" whenever someone else gets downed. It also gets slightly tactical because should you hang on to them or give them to Zojja?
I like this kind of design and I'm happy to see that it's not all barriers and disruptions and chain-janking.
