No, I think the Material-esque UI style feels a bit out of place on iOS
@ivory @apolloapp
My second biggest #UI wish for #Ivory is to have a clearer way to present threads in the main timeline. Currently replies are missing the context of the post they are responding too, so they tend to contribute to adding noise. To be fair, not many clients get this right.
Take a look at @elk and @phanpy, by contrast. The context is preserved and the conversation is much easier to follow right in the timeline.
My single biggest #UI wish for #Ivory @ivory is to add an option to disable all the cell swipe actions and add a “swipe anywhere to go back” feature. (Similarly to Twitter, the Mastodon official client, Woolly, Mammoth, and many other apps).
It would greatly improve single-handed use (with a right hand, that is).
Alternatively, a swipe on Tab Bar to go back a la @apolloapp would be an improvement.
\#Lemmy client update: if you are looking for an Apollo-like experience, #Memmy @memmy is currently the best client out there.
I can even forget its built in React Native. 🥲 Great job!
