  • This is always the max amount of effort liberals put in to stop fascists.

  • Damn. I guess I should have image searched it before posting

  • Palestine @lemmy.ml

    Message Found In Gaza

  • It’s all a big fucking racket. U.S. government uses public funding to purchase weapons from private weapons manufacturers to give to and sell to their NATO allies and other outpost states around the world like Taiwan, Israel and Ukraine. Then the corrupt governments in those countries sell the excess on black markets around the globe

  • The CIA supporting a fascist coup against a socialist president? Never heard that one before.

  • The only hope I really have is that it wakes a lot of people up to just how insidious the Dems are too. But knowing our media, it’ll be spun that Obama did it because he was just so afraid of a Trump Presidency and he will just continue to be a Reagan-like figure for the party

  • Agreed. That’s why I highly doubt an actual resolution comes any time soon. But you are correct, the Zionist project is continued colonialist expansion

  • I hope so. But I’m sure there’s no resolution the U.S. or Israel agree to that doesn’t involve some kind of two-state solution. So it really won’t end I don’t think. Unless the U.S. cuts funding but that won’t happen

  • That’s why you are dismissed as evil or childish if you even suggest communism. It’s “common sense” that Communism killed 100 million people and no further analysis is needed. That alone presents a huge challenge in opening people’s eyes

  • Is this the beginning of a clear attitude shift towards China in the imperial core? Obviously westerners are trained to hate China but historically that’s been used to demonize communism and stoke chauvinism.

But there hasn’t been an attempt at manufacture consent for mounted antagonism against China yet. Maybe the imperialists are starting to think Chinese socialism is a threat after all

  • And I don’t obfuscate that I’m a communist. I’ll tell people that. Maybe not right away, but definitely at some point in the conversation. The reason I do that is because I want to show people that my values aren’t just “big government, no food”

  • I feel like it all the time honestly. One thing that has helped me at least have productive conversations is to ask people “why do you feel that way about Palestinians” or “why wouldn’t you travel to China?”

Then that opens the door a little bit more. Unfortunately, people get very offended when you approach it from “you’re wrong and here’s why” instead of “why do you feel that way?”

  • I know it’s a meme, but I really don’t miss it. I was trapped in a mindset of racism, chauvinism, selfishness and just general stupidity.

Does it suck realizing just how fucked up the entire system is? Most definitely. But it sure beats ignorance. And the fact that we have literal actionable steps to bring about change is a cure to the doomerism that so many are succumbing to.

  • Eventually buying homes here in the USA is going to be a thing of the past. Everyone will merely be a renter. But capitalism isn’t the problem if you ask the majority of Americans. Even the ones who will agree will say “we should be more like Denmark!”

  • Man where have I seen this movie before?… oh yeah, 17 fucking years ago when the exact same kind of speculative housing market collapsed and led to a massive upward transfer of wealth.

I’m sure this time the bailouts will go to the workers though.

  • Well written post, comrade. I’ve recently been thinking a lot about this because I’ve lived the life of both an American conservative and American liberal.

Your assessment of Trump’s base is pretty accurate although I do there is a redpill component to it as well that has shepherded many young men to Trump who aren’t white. In the most recent cycle, his boom amongst Latino men was massive.

But again, the redpill community is hyper reactionary and sees female autonomy as a social ill

  • We also stand for the National Anthem at fucking everything.

  • So many Americans are hopelessly nihilistic. I’m truly in awe of how many people I know who completely understand that they’re being robbed by the rich and that life under this system fucking sucks but won’t consider the possibility of changing it.

  • No, no, no! He’s spending that money on Nazifying Grok

  • China @lemmygrad.ml

According to “The Hill”, China decreasing its air pollution is actually bad for climate change… somehow

  • It’s fucking gross tbh. I want to grab all my fellow white Americans and shake them out of their fixation over all the ticky tack bullshit that keeps us placated.

Like there are millions of people being stomped on so we have grocery stores full of food that we can barely afford anyway. When in reality we produce more than enough food to feed the entire planet

  • Comradeship // Freechat @lemmygrad.ml

Fellow American Comrades, how were you able to overcome the liberal propaganda?
