Long-ass lines in hospital waiting rooms for basic doctor's visits, unless you go to a private hospital ($$$$) or you know someone who's a doctor. Then you skip the line... which ofc makes things worse for people in line.
Basic things don't cost as much though, but the main issue is access and not cost.
Boost is coming to Lemmy? Where can I follow for info on that? That was the app I used for Reddit, and while Jerboa has similar features it's not quite the same for me. Especially the swipe gestures...
Also, surprisingly, Boost is still working for me fot Reddit. I'm still waiting for it to crash.
Juat one, VLemmy.
I signed up about two weeks ago I think? And I picked one that seemed large enough and permissive enough to be stable but not the biggest because I knew that one was going to get flooded with new users and suffer once the rest of reddit decided to jump ship.
So far, seems to have been the right choice.
Yeah, East Asia will ally with Beijing when Beijing actually decides to see the rest of East Asia as equals and not just former tributary nations. (Believe me, I'm Chinese, this is unfortunately all too common a superiority complex that Chinese people have.)
It's not that they want to be Westerners, it's that they don't want to be bullied by the regional superpower, and the other world superpower supports them in resisting Beijing.
Lemons? I think it'd be funny, and there's even an emoji for it too. 🍋
