Project 2025 was supposed to boost Donald Trump's campaign — but now it may be backfiring
  • I find it appalling how often people talk about executions on Lemmy. I see the same kind of extreme rhetoric on the far left as I do on the far right. I understand the sentiment that these people should be held accountable for their actions, and we should do everything we can to prevent them from getting into power, but consistently talking about killing politicians is disturbing.

  • Isn't this the same "taking the high road" strategy that has consistently put democrats at a disadvantage when dealing with a side that doesn't care about the rules? I bring this up because I'm trying to get an understanding for this framework of thinking. In my heart, I know it's probably the correct path, but I know it's not the best one when dealing with the current political game.

  • From this, it describes someone losing half a billion dollars which would leave them with over 300 million. That doesn’t sound too bad and is unrelated to difficulty with RSUs.
