  • by not supporting PCs, I meant 4K/Dolby Atmos/HDR streaming (except netflix, which gives you HDR and Atmos if you use their shitty windows app)

  • math rule
  • x1+x2=15 (6, 9) x1•x2=54 (6, 9)

    x1=6, x2=9

  • Is the Vega 11 enough for 4K video?
  • it will be enough for YT playback, since streaming services don't support PCs

  • New standard just dropped
  • on X.com, I presume (that's where I get them)

  • Blizzard Games are coming to Steam
  • They don't. Last I checked, Valve takes 30% or less (depends on the product's sales)

  • Are packages from flathub always safe?
    1. It looks like this website hasn't been updated since 2020.
    2. Most of the things here are (probably) patched, besides many developers have claimed the right to update their own apps, and those apps are verified (a new feature created in 2023).
    3. Before uploading an app that requires home or host filesystem access, developers must specify the reason.
    4. Ever since xdg portals became a thing, I have seen more apps switch to them
  • what is going on in Ukraine?

  • I honestly agree, the only exception is the steam deck. I don't know how, but that thing runs games really smooth. I really want CoD, BF2042 and R6S to support Linux, these games are stopping me from daily driving linux.

  • it's serious
  • metaverse indeed

  • userspace is a joke to some
