I'm WFH with a pretty chill work day except I'm on standby 24/7 in case of something stupid happens at work. So not much would change for me, honestly.
I learned a while back that his distinctive voice is not actually his voice. It's one he puts on as it works well for the characters he tends to play.
I was actually pretty late in watching Star Trek (but once I did, I fully committed. Started with the original series, then watched all episodes of every series), so I first noticed him in The 4400s. Seeing him in Star Trek again was so much fun.
I used to around 20 years ago. Some, anyway.
But I was always picky about the ones I watched. I had a few friends who liked Naruto and other types I didn't like. I always found that these two types basically boil down to either:
-
Combat centric plot, where each episode revolves around some new antagonist that luckily can be defeated by this new trick the protagonist learned earlier in the episode. Example: Naruto, DBZ.
-
Awkward guy spends time with attractive girls. Example: Ichigo 100%, Love Hina.
I really liked Monster, GTO, Elfen Lied, and Chobits. And there was this one drama whose name I cannot remember. I kind of lost interest after having seen those, because it felt like there were too much low quality anime compared to the ones that actually were worthwhile.
EDIT: I remember the other one, Kimi Ga Nozomi Eien. Also, honorable mention: Nana. Great soundtrack by Olivia Lufkin and Anna Tsuchiya
Dream Theater- Meteopolis pt 2: Scenes feom a Memory
Related Kerbal Space Program trivia: The kerbals were originally supposed to be genderless, but the design ended up looking male anyway, so the first three kerbals ended up being named Jebediah, Bill and Bob. Then when the game reached version 1.0, the devs decided they might as well add female kerbals, so they added one to the veteran-crew: Valentina
Each to their own I'd say, but I'm all for rule bending.
I've always been up front about modding based on what I consider reasonable interpretation of the spirit of the rules combined with common sense. This means that some things that technically should or shouldn't get deleted gets a treatment it wouldn't get by strict interpretation of the rules in their literal meaning.
That being said, my interpretation of the rules may not necessarily conform with those of other mods, so I rarely complain if someone else decides to overrule me.
Thanks for clearing things up. I never quite got what the percieved drama was about.
EDIT: Also, gotta appreciate the fact that NCD reached out and for once found a nonvoilent solution for peace.
