  • Only people working on them need to know the ins and outs of how a nuclear power plant works, though I feel like people should probably have still some education and be able to describe it in a very generalized way. But if you can't rotate a document, you're having trouble with the light switch.

Like, that's fine if you grew up without electricity in your house, but is that really the case with Zoomers?

  • I don't think most of the cultists actually want it to crash. Sure, there's a subset of accellerationists, and for sure they want to teach their enemies a lesson, but I think for the most part, they think that everyone is lying, overreacting, or it's just temporary and things will be much better afterwards. The problem is, they can't ever get out of that modality because of the sunk cost. No matter how bad things get.

  • Pointing out problems AND solutions! I like it. I agree with a lot of points, but especially that we need to stop looking to America and bringing back standards that don't work for either country, such as with public transportation. They're famously bad for it. We should be looking at world leaders in all sectors if we're going to pattern ourselves after them.

  • Is there any evidence they decided to exit the cult? People will paint the walls beige when selling a house, and that doesn't mean they don't still like whatever red and green Christmas themed house they had to start with. Pulling down a flag while selling the house you can't afford doesn't actually mean you wouldn't still vote for him.

  • I think a large number of Americans don't know, and it's gotta be telegraphed for them. I think a lot of non-Americans were also thinking this is just another trade spat until recently.
