@AmidFuror @MicroWave @jordanlund @Brkdncr yeah after the movies did so well they made books out of em
@thesystemisdown right anyone I'm expecting will have called first. Everybody else can fuck right off. XD
@aeronmelon who opens their door anymore when someone knocks?
@tardigrada Don't mistake any of this for me saying "we shouldn't try", of course we should. This needs to be a topic of conversation always, maybe the needle will slowly move.
But as long as you've got a large portion of the country in love with stockpiling firearms and ammunition, and a mental health crisis to go with it, this will continue to happen and politicians will continue to wring their hands.
@tardigrada Their solution will be to turn the schools into fortresses, which the pretty much already are, and this still continues to happen. And it won't address workplace and public mass shootings.
The problem is a comprehensive mental health crisis, and readily available killing machines.
Have a look at what is required to amend the constitution and see why I am saying we're stuck where we are now on the topic of gun control.
@tardigrada Unfortunately I think he's right. If nothing changed after Sandy Hook, nothing will ever change. If some psychopatch rolling into an elementary school and killing 30 people, 20 of whom were only 6-7 years old didn't galvanize this country, this topic is settled in my opinion.
Everybody talked a good game for a while about the tragedy but we've got politicians elected who think the whole thing was fake.
I predict nothing more than thoughts and prayers for this one as well.
@frog_brawler oh he's a YouTuber, cleans out blocked culverts and storm drains. Turns out Jello Biafra sounds a lot like him I never knew
@Philharmonic3 @The_Picard_Maneuver Are we sure the first few 2x4s aren't fun? Like the first few bricks and cars?
@givesomefucks @cosmicrookie William Shatner always struck me as someone incredibly hostile to the fanbase which made him famous and the people who are the only reason anyone gives a damn about him anyway.
Every interview I have ever read or seen video of is just him belittling people and their fandom.
@Servais No I didn't go, I didn't like 99% of those people when we were in school together, I cannot imagine the intervening 20 or so years would have done much to change that tbh.
@Transporter_Room_3 Voyager was my favorite of the Star Trek series. I loved the idea of them being stranded 70+ years away from home an djust having to figure it out. And Janeway is by far my favorite captain in all of the series because of how much of a mother bear she was.
@andrewta @necropola Irritable Braham Sandrome
@Ravi @lulztard Unless and until they come up with another way to get the kryptis essences, rifts are the only way to get the thousands you're going to need for even just one piece of the new Open World Legendary armor.
I suspect this is the pressure that many feel regarding rifts. I'm still hopeful they come up with a new way in the next release to gather this essence besides rifts. Otherwise I'll probably be in WvW for my legendary armor tbh.
@pixel @Flynn_Mandrake I've never once seen anything in thr training LFG except people selling raids. If you've got a giuld that does statics and doesn't mind showing you the ropes, it might be easier. I disagree with the statement that it's easy in general however.
The raids themselves are really no harder than the fractals, once you've got the mechanics down. Getting the practice is the problem. Emboldened mode might help with that.
Casual MMORPG enjoyer. Currently. #GuildWars2 is the time-sink of choice. I use #debian btw. 🤓🐧
I have a #photography hobby in real life, so I like to take screenshots in games and see if I can make blend my two hobbies.
