Does my arm take long term damage if it falls asleep every third night?
  • Not a doctor, but I do suffer from thoracic outlet syndrome. Numbness after sleeping or while using a phone was one of the only symptoms I got before my blood clots.

Sometimes this would be the full arm and sometimes just in the ulnar nerve (outside of palms and pinkie + ring finger).

Maybe try doing the roos stress test at home and talking to a doctor if you get symptoms. If left untreated you may end up with permanent venous and/or nervous system damage (like me).

Obviously this isn't the only thing that can cause numbness in your arms after sleeping. I'm just spreading the word on TOS because it's what I'm familiar with, and because I wish someone had done so for me years ago!

  • I'm the same way. Chasing code changes through the codebase then fighting with an edit rebase stack trying to explode them into less-interlocked changes.

It doesn't always work, sometimes I am just committing a giant blob of changes at work on my project I near-solo maintain 💀

  • Microsoft now permits uninstalling Edge, Bing, and OneDrive to adhere to the EU's Digital Markets Act.
  • Kinda yeah. WebView2 is edge (chromium) based and definitely is not uninstalled by uninstalling edge. But it won't have the browser chrome or the MS Account association (for now, we all know it's possible for ms to make things worse 💀)

Reproduction in humans is not very efficient. Only around 30% of natural conceptions result in successful pregnancies. Of the failed pregnancies around 85% are due to implantation failure.

Seems like it's extremely normal for a fertilized egg to fail to implant and be flushed out during your next period.
