Europe will have its own AI: OpenEuroLLM
The European Comission has granted €20 million to STEP, the European consortium that will create the AI model. It will be open source, European regulations-compliant and unlike Deepseek, its dataset will also be open source and will be trained in 35 languages.

Nice recommendation, thanks. I'm starting to push away from all these US big tech companies (hence why I'm here in Lemmy) and finding an alternative to YouTube was hard to find. I just hope they don't get into the same troubles as Vanced.
